Exactly this, its laughable how good players and managers turn poor as soon as they leave. Im firmly a fan of Poch, as much as the bloke left us in the lurch. He was an excellent manager who got the players playing in a brilliant style and trained to such a high level. If he is given time at Spurs I have little doubt he'll get them there or there abouts for the top four. Regardless of history, looking at the here and now, I think that Poch is a better tactician then Koeman. Thats not to say, Im not a fan of Koeman before anyone picks me up on that. I think he'll be a great manager for us.

It wont be the same, atleast I dont think he will play a high pressing game. Expect the front three to press and slow down a counter attack by 'pressing' the back four in order to allow the other 7 outfield players to regain shape. Pressing is likely to be done in our own half..... All of course IMO

Now, Im not privvy to the information however how do we know that Boruc has taken his position as gauranteed No.1 for granted ? And so not applying himself properly in training ? What ? That Welbeck is likely a better deal then Long ? Im not even really saying Long is a poor signing, I wont lie, Id be underwhelmed considering the level of budget that we had at our disposal. He will be ok, atleast for 1 maybe 2 seasons of transition. He will grab a few goals. 12m seems a lot aswell, but realistically its probably only 2mish north of what is a reasonable price. Welbeck is a decent young player, plenty of hardwork and potential and will add balance to a front three. He will get goals too IMO. My point mainly is that its been a pretty poor window as much for getting players in as for those leaving. That said Ive seen a trend, Ive mainly been trying to debate openly and discuss things but whats the point ? It seems those that feel all is ok are self rightious and are happy to berate differing opinions, which is highly hypocritical when the criticism is aimed at them.

Hull might not sign Welbeck, equally we might not sign long, I dont see the wrong in making the arguement that if both sign for their respected clubs then we get the worst side of the deal. Did you actually just try to argue longs ability against welbeck by posting up stats that support the latter ? Jesus wept Let alone the fact that generally Welbeck plays pushed out wide and so has scoring chances restricted. Id take Welbeck in a heart beat, great little player, hard worker, and young. A snip at an extra 2million. I seriously am worried about our receuitment departments ability

Ahh, I see the angle Whilst that is very true (i imagine see also afghanistan (good at this arent we )) Im not entirely sure we should be allowing an organisation like ISIS to openly recruit on the streets of our capital city (if at all true) but then realistically they're only going to do it in private anyway.
