Would You Care If Pochettino Left Tommorow?

Yes very much so, best manager tactically we have had in a long time. I think the tactics we use are too much for the players we have right now, they must be tired, and aware there are no real adequate replacements waiting in the wings -

No I am too young for that wonderfull day. I too was dissapointed for our exit but it was as much the players that played (that were perfectly adequate) that underperformed as much as it was the issue for the manager. All season people have been banging on about finishing as high as we can and we have been all gubs blazing in the league performing brilliantly and earning rave reviews. The problem cones wgen we dip into our reserves, we struggle there at the minute due to our quick rise. Sunderland fielded an understrength team aswell, as do more or less every club these days. Realistically ours was pretty strong in reality with only 3 recognised reservists. It was dissapointing, but to still be banging on about it to the level that some have on here is frankly embarrassing. Its a loss, get over it, in reality we had the better chances and it was our three more or less first teamers (two of the fan favs) that missed ! It also took a pretty special goal to beat us too. So yes I understand the dissapointment, yes I want to get to the cup final but frankly Im a little bemused by the rediculous overreaction to a one nil loss.

Cant believe people are still angry at it, this time last year I was worried about going down and the year before that staying down.
-
Saw this the other day, bit off I thought on Uraguays part considering he hasnt played for us again yet
-
Plus top level head coaches jobs arent physically strenuous, they have efficient teams coaching players all acting under their direction.
-
Im not saying that it definately will happen just that I have a feeling that it will. What proof do you have right now that it wont ? The changes, the lack of any movement in the TW, the cutting of fat (london office etc). Smells fishy for me. Plus this is business and football, since when has trust meant anything ?

Stop being pedantic MLG you know what I meant. If she was happy with our direction she wouldnt have got rid of/allowed NC to leave and visa versa if NC was happy with her backing he wouldnt have gone etc
-
I dont know anything right now, I have a bad feeling that MP will go end of season and things will unravel. Im also not sure KL is here for the long haul, a few pointers towards us as fans does nothing to appease me.

Pretty obvious really if you could read. Our first 11 is pretty good, our reserves not so much. Sunderland have amassed a team that has a bit of depth, certainly they have players that can step in and do a better job then ours. Plus Id take Mannone, Borini, Dossena and Johnson if I had to
-
Crazy how many dont see this Everytime we have dipped into our reserves we have struggled. That and Poyet has turned off the crazy installed by PDC and got them organized. I still think they will go down though.

If MP left ?! Yes I probably would Then Id also take AVB

1. Not the first time that MoPo hasnt met the media, in fact Id argue he has become more inactive since NC left, evidentally he doesnt appear on the touchline as often 2. Lallana looked knackered, certainly didnt look his usual self, yes he was our best player on the day but still, considering his worth he needs protecting. Talk of MoPo throwing the game is pretty rediculous, yes I think he should have rested players pre Sunderland but he didnt, that team could have beaten them, we missed two sitters and generally the players on show were substandard. Our real problem is our strength in depth or lack thereof, if at anytime we have to dip into our 2nd string we look inadequate. The FA cup is done, things happen, get over it (thats not all necessarily aimed at you AC)

Not really

One thing that me and the dunemeister general can agree on. I just cant see them spunking the cash to a level we are used to or to pay for the level that was aspired to.
-
Your saying that all that matters ? A game for England ? He wont stay forever, I just hope it is not as early as next year and that he goes for a record fee
-
I honestly think young Chambers is going to eventually make it as a CB, reasonably sure there is that avenue of development for him. It depends on scouts and coaches I suppose. On what they are looking for, coaching and qualified to do as top level they specialise a lot more.

It appears Sir Rickie is not playing to his usually high standards

Its more then just the players at Barca, the way they play has been coached since La Masia. -

Have to agree, I do think that the Roma Osvaldo was that man (minus being a headcase). MoPos system requires the frontman to be (sorry to use a FM term its just easier to explain it) a complete striker, he needs to be strong enough to hold the ball up, technical enough to find passes around him, quick enough to get behind and hard working enough to support the high press. Honestly ? That is going to seriously cost us unless we get a tainted genius or take a gamble. In the prem ? Lukaku/Benteke/borini/welbeck/bony could all possibly fit the bill, all with their own gambles and costs, outside the prem it is more and more hedging your bets, there are players out there, I made a brief list the other day. The young lad at Juve excites me (on loan at sussulo) But realistically you are looking at a massive fee -

cheers bear, propoganda at its finest -
I tead somewhere that they were attempting to ensure they paid tax on earnings for every away game (as it wouldnt be in Monaco) or some rediculous solution. But I assume the league has said that due to all contracts (well playing licences) technically being held by the governing FA that tax will be applicable to that effect ?
