I know bear, if it wasnt for my personal trainer, private tutor and harley medical group membership Id be really upset. -
I meant that we are not currently direct enough and hence Rickie is not the man for the system we currently play.

I agree we score more at home but at the same time our strategy has only really been highlighted by probably our two most difficult games this season. That said I have always thought since our emergence from league 1 that we do not ever seem to capitalise on our domination in matches. Ive sort of accepted the fact we are not prolific due to our defensive dominance in games but at some point yes we need to be a bit more direct and take some chances when we win the ball higher up. Lambert was never going to be the man for this system and unfortunately Osvaldo has not really hit the ground running at all. Yesterday we were unlocked by quick balls wide avoiding our powerhouse in the middle of the park, we never got to grips at all with Chelsea second half.

Well obviously, but everyone has equal oppurtunities. I didnt have the wonderful options that some of our more distinguished families can afford for their children but still make a comfortable living and will be able to provide a better upbringing for my children in return. How have I achieved this ? Hard work and perhaps being more academic then a few other people. Thats life and I accept that. There are people better looking, more athletic, more intelligent and they reap the rewards for that. None of us are equal but are all afforded much more oppurtunity then most other countries in the world. Explain to me how you will go about improving a society by moving away from capatilism and I will concede my arguement. Our society isnt perfect but it certainly isnt the hell on earth that Brand makes out whilst offering absolutely no alternatives. -

How does everyone not have an equal chance in life in the UK ? -
You expect us to win at the emirattes and Stamford Bridge then ?

Quite difficult to argue that the NHS does not obviously improve the life expectancy and health of the UK compared to many other countries. -

Basically this. Not a masdive fan of capitalism but really what are the alternatives. The cry of everyone is equal for me is incorrect as in reality we are all different every one of us. In all honesty Socialism in an extreme form has been practiced before, its known as Communism and look how that worked out. -
Bump Back to form

He seems lost. I can honestly see sonething in Ramirez when he plays, he just doesnt fit, but Osvaldo ?! Ive not seen anything today to suggest he is worth what we paid.
-
Credit where credit is due This is what I said in the summer, Lambert isnt the man to do it, but nor is Osvaldo on this showing. V poor second half. Gave it a v good go, made them work hard but unless you can create and score all this way of playing gives you is heavy legs.
-
Ramires should have been booked first half and sent off second
-
Double ****e

Different ways of playing, no longer a small fish in a small league and Spurs were never mediocre. That said he has done very well over there. Always was a quality player, he has everything really, plus he can defend and if he learns from the best player in the world whilst he is there then itll be even better for him.

If I wanted to act with any form of class Im not entirely sure that your example is one that I would follow Dune.

He is eloquent yes but to me it seems he uses it in an attempt to sway the layman to his views as if you understand and follow his arguements from start to finish you soon realise he has no real valid points. -
Stan, mole, dune, barry Still a tedious tit
-
Exactly
-
Not my finest hour...... Plus some were comparing Rhodes to Lambert ? I assume only because of his progress through divisions as he is nothing like the same player.
-
Well true enough, I suppose we paid similar for J Rod, english players are so overpriced. We paid almost half for Lovren
-
Yeah TBF he is one of those players thats made every step up and made them well. He is doing it consistantly again this year. Personally think 10m is too much, not sure why someone like palace spunked however much on gayle but didnt try him. That said I dont think he will fit our system, he is a goalscorer only IMO and it will still be a gamble that he will step up again.
-
No thanks
-
It is a shame for him, top player and a victim that arguably Wanyama fits the system a little more. It would be a shame to see him go but TBH I did say he and Lambert were two players we should be sort of looking to replace last year, you dont improve unless you replace with better. I think Davis gets the nod as IMO he is more versatile, he can do a job attacking or defensively but I should imagine Cork only can play defensive.

Morgan / Tactical explanation of Pochettino's tactics

Which is exactly why this system wouldnt work unless you do what I said before about building a team from the bottom age group up and in so essence they should be picking players used to each other. These systems require massive amounts of time to coach and so wouldnt work between usual national windows IMO On a seperate note what a breath of fresh air Poch is with his techniques and strategy after footballing dinosaurs of Redknapp, Burley etc Clearly he is a man with clear direction and IMO unless we can genuinely spend to achieve his ambitions he wont be here long.
