Way to completely miss the point there fella

Exactly, I never understood the arguement about tuition fees, it was used as a stick to beat the tories by those that required more of one and seemingly upset an entire generation who no doubt wanted to continue to ride an easy system and avoid doing something meaningful and all in all contribute to society (no doubt all the time conplaining about johnny foreigners offering nothing) Then it was said that the university process now made it elitest... Um.. Isnt that the point or is that just me ? As per brand, he is obviously an intelligent chap who does make very valid points from time to time however I wonder if his foray into politics is utterly useless. Sometimes I listen and wonder if his (no doubt brilliantly vibrant) articulation is effectively just to gloss over the fact he makes very dilute points and offers no solution or even any real description, is it just to attempt to confuse the layman ? As per his obvious want of a Utopia and disdain of capitalism his ideas just wouldnt work, there is and always have been a disparity, you'll never escape that. As much as it is hard and we need to help our fellow man life isnt equal. Added to this his berating of corperations turning a profit when he himself is no doubt making a mint from his upcoming tour. Pap, your an intelligent man, sometimes I think you realm into the brand realm of nonsense that you attempt to mask by ultimately diverting the attention from your sometimes flimsy points. But how can you not see it is not just the tories, it is politics in general, labour spectacularly went over the top with their overly PC and equality nonsense and effectively saw the downfall of our economic system, I cant see that the tories should be blamed for anything right now as they are essentially trying to fix a broken system but realistically they will outlast themselves and everyone will be glad to see the back of them And so the wheel keeps turning

Toure is he over playing the race card
Smirking_Saint replied to Viking Warrior's topic in The Lounge
Ignoring the anti Viking bit as Im not interested in adding another feud to my lengthy list Id say your pretty much spot on. Im not sure he is overplaying it at all, it happened. Yes the 'race card' is often used far too easily for my liking as an excuse for certain misdemeanors and often even just because someone feels wronged. But in this case he has a right to be upset. The monkey chant is abhorrent and I think what makes it worse is Uefas apparant directive opposes it without actually tackling the points or the issues without any form of reasonable punutative actions. -
Grrrrrrreeeeaaaatttt

Plus Flamini and even Diaby if he is ever fit again. They have some real options all over now, sort of gone from under quality to a team going places. A decent striker and possibly a CB and theyll be ok, a RB even better.

A New Charge Against Southampton Football Club
Smirking_Saint replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
Im no top accountant, I do a bit of financial management with my job but Im no financial wizard. I do know that SSE a company worth billions does not use its own funds but does everything via loans etc Now Im not entirely sure why this is but Im pretty sure there are 'financial' reasons behind it. So basically Im not worried too much, you dont get where Cortese was in the banking industry by being a numpty. -
Lewandowski has signed a pre contract with Bayern who have offered 15m for him to move in Jan I believe. As per us, IF we give up Gaston then someone like Ince is entirely the wrong player to replace him with. Its not Gastons quality thats under the spotlight IMO it is him fitting into the system. An ideal replacement would be Banega, as he is seemingly able to play in that role. You just have to look at Chelsea to see how difficult to get decent attacking players who will adhere to a defend from the front mentality which is why Mata found it so difficult to get in but Oscar is his pet favourite.

Depends on what it describes, as it has to be overly desceiptive to avoid being torn apart in court. Most of my disdain about this however is because of following ACOPs ad verbatim or trying to piece together procedures and H&S paperwork from them. Not just the buzzwords though, the missus comes back from work and tells me stories of the office. Its certainly one environment I never want the displeasure of working

QPR was a mistake for him, surely he is t stupid enough to take the palace job
-
This, wasnt it a 'mutual decision' which means that Holloway probably saw the writing on the wall and the board have ambition above what they could possibly achieve although Id say they did poor in the TW. May even see Mowbray come this way and Holloway go to Boro
-
Most of this is contract language or legal speak. Which generally makes little sense to anyone that doesnt have a reasonable grasp of what it says. I lose count of the amount I have read and wondered what it meant until I eventually figured it out

I sometimes sit there and wonder what job they are actually doing. I was offered moves into the senior management side but thankfully followed my engineering roots. So I am effectively at the same level but dont get half the aggro. Its probably more difficult not to dumb things down if Im honest, though I can go into science mode to prove a point.
-
Ive used annual leave, going forward and issues Thankfully I dont work in an office so dont have to worry about what some of the latest 'buzz words' are. Being on the engineering side and sitting with middle managers sometimes I have to ask what the '****' they are going on about.

Dune and glasgow have had a good days fishing
-
Oh yeah one player, take your pick out of Ozil, Ramsey or Flamini
-
By wide man I mean an attacking midfielder or forward player with real pace should we need to change things, though we havnt exactly 'needed' one yet this season so you may be right. I suppose we have Isgrove waiting in the wings
-
Back up Keeper and perhaps a wide man. Other than that priority would be keeping hold of what we have got. Only a weirdo would want widespread replacements disturbing whats going on so far.

Itll be available on other sites aswell

You dont live up to your username do you ?

This, he also allows us to press higher up in the knowledge that if we are broken against he is there with the two CBs Also removes the long ball counter we saw last year working against us

How long can roy ignore our other English players?
Smirking_Saint replied to Batman's topic in The Saints
Well Ive tried to explain the probable reasoning god knows how many times Jamie but you just put it down to big club bias. Also, in an england team that now plays an adapted 433 where will Adam fit in ? -

This But I get the impression that Walker is prefered for his attacking qualities.

Sterling has done naff all this season, lallana wouldnt be replacing Cleverley in the england set up but should probably be near it on his own merits. Clyne should be close imo
