I said in the first half that Fellaini isnt a Utd type player, I dont think SAF would ever have signed him, they shoukd have gone all out and got Baines, not Fellaini. Moyes has always been slow in the transfer market and his hand was sort of forced I think. Carrick was very isolated in midfield at times, Fellaini not existant from and attacking or defensive sense and they lacked energy really. Rio is starting to look past it aswell but dont take anything away from city who were excellent.

FWIW Baird never got on with 'arry so its no real surprise. Good player though

I like him, big prescence, very athletic, gives us an extra element when defending teams breaking against us and certainly helps with any long ball threats. His passing is hit and miss but Im not sure its as bad as is being made out, my bigger worry is he holds onto the ball too long at times and gets dispossessed. Good player, will improve, probably not worth 12m

Really ? I just give my opinion, its a forum. If your gonna get the hump about it thats your perogative. You can always explain to me why you think Corks going to make such a difference to our goalscoring or just ignore it ? Not entirely sure how I come across as a know it all, I could always act like Im some sort of billy big nuts if that will make you feel a bit more in common ?

Wanyama is better defensively, cork is better on the ball. Thats pretty much it, so no, it isnt going to change much from an attacking sense. Id also suggest Vic hasnt been as bad as people are making out. In fact none of our performances have been tgat bad, we just seem to dwell on the ball too much in the final third. As I said, I like Cork, I dont dislike him, I dont think he is vastly different to Victor and wont change much. Cork or Victor ? IMO it depends on the opposition, I suspect we will see VW against the bigger, longish ball type teams and Cork against sides when possession is key.

I wouldnt say it was a particularly bad miss or a worldie save either. Jussi spread himself and it caught his leg. Unless Osvaldo got a bit more height in the shot Id have said it was difficult to do a lot more with it. But other than that I think we agree, I thought Boruc made an equal amount of decent saves, Jussi just pipped it. At the end of the day we didnt do enough as we are not quick enough (decisions not necessarily pace) in the final third

I would suggest Rickie fits Englands tactics better than ours at the moment. Its up to MoPo to be brave by either changing the tactics to suit Rickie or drop Rickie to suit the tactics. Something needs to change, as we cant score and havnt for a long time. The last couple of times Rickie was quiet for a period we found out he had an unknown injury, it must be that again then.

My point was cork is out of the side and now people are saying his inclusion will lift us to a new super scoring level despite the fact that we were having the same problem last year and essentially he os a defensive midfielder that isnt as good at winning the ball as VW ? Personally I dont give a toss if we pick Vic or Cork, it wont make much of a difference to me, Vic lets Morg have a longer leash but gives the ball away more, cork needs a man next to him but keeps it better ?!? We are struggling to score, not letting goals in. What we need is changes to the way we play higher up the pitch, not necessarily from a defensive sense. Yes and he is very good but playing him wont change anything at all in an attacking sense, if anything Wanyamas better defensively then cork so releases Morgan a bit more as we saw yesterday. Not got anything against cork Do keep up sunshine

Wanyama, lallana, J Rod, Morgan, Lambert, Osvaldo all had a very poor touch at times last night. Atleast J Rod drove at the defence at times instead of slowing play, letting them reposition and then attempt to break them down. For that reason Id keep him in there. For all his ability Lallana is slowing frustrating me, yes he can beat a man but doesnt know what to do when he does, his game slowing tactics irritate me aswell. Lambert looked ok yesterday but he is at times guilty of slowing things down too but his ability on the ball and better decisions save him from my wroth. I dont get the criticism of J Rod so much though, works hard and is always involved in the action whenever Ive seen him this season.
