How quick do you reckon we could get him rebanned ? -
Andy Carroll pulls out of squad.. Lambert in?
Smirking_Saint replied to bowers-sfc's topic in The Saints
Just because I can look at things objectively and dont have to base ability on whether they wear an Saints shirt on occasion doesnt mean I cannot be taken seriously. I spend enough of my time watching, playing and have spent a lot working within the game to be able to base an opinion. And in my (shortish) life so far, the far majority of my opinions end up being correct. I would say offer Rickie or Welbeck to anyone actually involved in the game right mow and they would take Welbeck, but thats obviously wrong as it is popular on social media to say he is poor right now. If you honestly think the England team is based purely on form you are sadly wrong, I have explained before how an international squad is put together (as you must factor in the small time you have to coach) if you have done any tactical coaching before you will realise it takes time. As per Carroll vs Lambert, they are different players but for me if offered at the start of the season Id take Carroll, Lambert can play midfield v well in an advanced position but we need mobility upfront and Carroll is a bloody handfull. -
So explain to me the reasons for why this situation happened ? What drove them to do it, who they were and what they stood to gain ? I have no problem with people questioning things, questioning is a part of life but chasing after theories that are so far beyond the realms of impossibility with only some very inconsistant evidence to look at is crazy. Tell me, of all of the worlds major conspiracies how many have been proven true ?

Unsurprisingly I find myself agreeing with you again Window -
Saying that anyone else is blindly refusing to accept anything is pretty hypocritical here pap TBH. The majority (ie everyone but you) are refusing to see any validity in it because the theories are obviously complete ****e and inconsistancies from myself a neutral have IMO been adequately explained.

Pap seems to be doing well......

Hughes is a decent enough manager, they couldnt go too far from the lump it up field blueprint as they are not set up for it. Mark will go in and try to stabalise them, get a few decent signings in (unless he does what he did at QPR) and move from there. What I said earlier in the thread still stands though, purely from a players perspective Stoke will struggle next year as they were made for Pulis. I expect they will finish just outside relegation to which people will slag off hughes who will end up getting them mid table the following season

I wish we had gone for Redknapp TBH, plays attractive football and usually does ok, you'd just have to put up with his constant soundbites but we arent going to escape them anyway. Im not going to go into it as I cant be bothered, but I know why you puck majority of top 6 team players, but to set the team up like that and look completely abject. Ireland brought on Connor Sammon FFS ! Woy needs help from a someone who has studied a book of tactics within the last 5 years

Have you pre-ordered a next gen games console?
Smirking_Saint replied to pap's topic in Technology Chat
Ill prob buy the PS4 on release, most of these things hinge on what platform the majority of your mates have (as thats who you play online etc) Always liked Sony, have a deep seated hatred on Microsoft (though always loved Halo) so will get a PS4 Hopefully its not quite as much as 600 quid though, else Ill have to do a few more sundays at work -

Lambert isnt mobile enough, other than that I agree regarding technical abilities -

Smirking_Saint replied to bowers-sfc's topic in The Saints
Lol no That was crap, as I said earlier, the squad has potential but Woy hasnt got a sodding clue, tactically inept, boring and outdated -
Well, the squad has potential, but Woy is tactically useless
-
Fellaini, dembele, dufour, witsel etc etc
-
Welbeck is good enough if fit, he will play in a more forward role then he does with MU. Lambert wont be called up, he has been poor the last few games, apparantly he is injured but I dont know, whenever he is out of form it seems to be because he has been carrying an injury nobody knew about.

This of course, especially about Welbeck is complete tosh Lambert doesnt fit the England mould, its not just about picking form players, that is such a blinkered view, it is about building a squad that can play together in the best formation for the players you have. You also need to be firmly aware of succesion. Its not rocket science -
Hmm, well thats that sorted cheers mullet It of course matters mot where he is, he could have been anywhere in the UK talking to clubs and has gone to look around for a few days in the capital ? But then, Spurs and Arsenal also need a DM
-
Oh and BTW what a tit Hodgson is, I remember him saying we are a striker and defender light, but will be ok if we dont get injuries...... Well, um, we just lost a striker
-
Considering they are both high rises it probably london
-
Well, the goal was poor between Johnson and Cahill, needed better communication and had to defend that cross better. We are playing a 4231 of sorts from what I can see, Carrick is an excellent ball player but he isnt there to break up play, frank gets forward too much for that role. Rooney seems to have a free role behind Sturridge (who looked good before getting injured again) but has done absolutely nothing, though Lampard and Ox seem to be running into his space. Walcott and Ox just arent getting at them enough and look poor. Basically, you win and lose games in midfield, currently Ireland are better there, Id push Frank up and get Rodwell in alongside Carrick.

No explanation ? His hands have suddenly turned orange FFS did I miss the bit he ate a mega pack of wotsits. Pap seriously, drop the crap and this houlier than thou attitude, your coming across as one of those sad morons that think everything that happens is because of some crazy government scheme to brainwash all of us. As I said before, you need to stop trawling the net all day and get outside for a stroll in the sun.
-
So, you're discrediting Verbal as you say that his opinions andbeliefs are skewed towards an opinion that supports the fact that the murders were exactly as they were reported, and have attempted to justify the complete tosh you speak by posting a video that you have 'sought out' that happens to be on another conspiracist weirdos blog ? I suggest you go out and get some fresh air pap

With respect, you honestly still dont believe that the woolwich incident was anything more then two f*cking nutcases that had been indoctrinised by a bloke that should have been kicked out long ago do you ?

I just think we are two pieces of the same puzzle, albeit a long way apart. This country is being destroyed by either extreme liberalism or things that are further to the right. Ill be honest, Ive not really looked into it too far, politics really isnt one of my usual combat grounds. I couldnt really give a toss that the Camerons went on holiday or that clegg is clinging onto the coattails whilst trying to drag some of his liberal ideas into the light. Is a society that is happy with free speech to a level that extremism be it from militants of Islam or those thinky veiled facist or is it christians ? Really free ? One that bans the wearing of poppies etc as it could offend or being told I cant order black coffee anymore as its offensive (it really did happen to me). I understand it is washing away our freedoms, and I realise my original arguement was a bit of a cop out. But it is still true. That said, after thinking about it I agree with the snoopers charter bit. Realistically though the government is just dodging the real issues, too many immigrants, an economic mess and the fact they have been caught again failing to act on reasonable information. As for the benefits thing Ill stick to what I said, we allow too many as it is, I appreciate that we need to look after those in the most need, but in doing so at times we are creating an over bloated society of spongers. Should the situation you spoke to the wife about arise then I am sure that help would be forthcoming, I just dont see why we award those that exist only to ride the gravy train. I know plenty that cheat the system and gain more then their fair share (none of which I particularly like FWIW). Anyway, Im just ranting now, a lot of what you write makes sense papster, some doesnt, unfortunately most of it just comes across as the sprallings of some ranting conspiracist and completely derails any credibility.
-
Personally I dont think that there should be any more benefits to families over 2 children, we are a country with free contraception, advice andeducation, should you want more than 2 it should be a personal choice made with financial reasoning. As for the snoopers charter, what really is the issue with this unless you have something to worry about ? Or unless you are a conspiracist nutjob who sits on the internet all day ?
