Holy theme for this years kit - just a theory

Ive meant to change that for ages TBF, your not nearly as annoying as you used to be. Cortese is a stickler on agent fees, which is strange as he seems happy enough to spunk cash on transfers and wages.
-
Because there is no specific rulings to it, there is generally an accepted fee of around 5% but some agents demand more, few less.
-
Muniesa hasnt been released as he isnt good enough, unfortunately you cant explain everything within the constraints of game programing. All i am saying is at times players move on, some want game time over mobey etc He is a good player and a great free signing
-
Im sort of between Hypo and MLG on this one, a couple of the deals will come off but Id also like him to just turn around and get the deals done. If some of these players want to come, but want an extra 500k for the agent just do it, the TV money for a higher placed finish will pay for it
-
Your right but the compensation via tribunal works by a valuation of the players worth, then you will get further payments dependant on internationals and first team games etc. Considering Bostock flopped ensured they got next to nothing Anyway, sorry for doing an MLG
-
Man Utd released Pique, and Barca may lose Thiago cheaply, it happens, I know you love the pedantry but sometimes I feel like your frothing at the gash to prove someone wrong.
-
Unfortunately this is it, lets get this straight, I dont want to be paying loads to agents, but, thats how transfers work.
-
Lol, and Blakey was calling TijTim a poor poster the other day, your incredible nipper you really are. FWIW I have heard there is a certain amount of inexperience, its not necessarily from a players or transfer fees POV but NC seems to have a bee in his bonnet over agents. Now, most of us woukd agree that we woukd rather not pay the greedy bastards anything, but in reality you have to. Its hard to buy a house without estate agents etc NC will learn eventually. Its different to last season though, last season we wasted a lot of time chasing players that had no intention of joining. I think we are making progress on a few, lets not panic though, most deals take a lot of time. Very few teams have done much if anything so far, you have holidays, internationals and tge fact that you have to pay players for nothing if done early, none of this helps.

Carroll, Bony and Nolan in a forward three ? I wonder what sort of tactics they are going to use then FWIW if Carroll stays injury free I reckon he will have a good season, I thought WHU were in debt though ?

Bony is the sort of player we should be looking at IMO, plus I certainly wouldnt mind a player like Ince depending on price.

Damiao or similar top striker = Lambert moved back?
Smirking_Saint replied to DuncanRG's topic in The Saints
We certainly need better wingers and more pace, we play the build up game well enough but when GR is not on the pitch RL drops into those positions and then although is great on the ball it means we have nobody in the box. With GR on the pitch he seems not to have enough infront of him. A striker with a bit of pace will do us wonders. RL will get goals, but we wont really click untill we get someone up top who is more mobile. -
4231 is difficult as you got to get the tactics spot on, often the full backs and CMs go forward leaving you exposed, I had an unreal 4231 team, was doing ok in europe but pants in the prem. i switched to 442 and it all clicked

Nobody has said he isnt fit, he has very much worked on his overall fitness. He just doesnt have the pace to play up top in the prem IMO This whole he was injured thing always baffles me too, everytime he has poor games there is always some injury that he is playing with that nobody other than a few on SWF seem to know about ? -

Yeah agreed Dunc, he isnt what we need any more as a main striker, he just has not got the legs. We are definately looking for a replacement aswell. I have always thought that he could carve a role out of the no 10 or atleast the advanced midfielder of the forward 3. And may still do that next year, he will be competing with Gaston though, who is the better player if he actually finds his form. Rickie will still get a fair share of game time but will not be the main act IMO -
I dont know whats worse, believing we are actually going to sign defoe or actually giving any faith to anything that poster says. Never mind the fact he says we want someone to play off of J Rod or Rickie ?... Um, no we dont as we dont play that way.

Let's be having this at SMS, stadium wifi
Smirking_Saint replied to sandwichsaint's topic in The Lounge
You can say that about virtually any invention TBH -
Yeah but surely the FA can get in through due to some sort of sporting sanction ? They already have with the home grown rulings as part of the 23 man squad
