  1. With all your help, we will stamp out trolling Forever
  2. Tbh I can see what your trying to say, but it does all just seem like you are tying all these guys up in knots with some pretty good WUMing. It is obvious what everybodys role is in the committee, and I dont see how you can argue that. Christ so we dont have a committee containing Arnason etc but thats because we have just come up from league 1 within 2 years, the club is trying to build a modern way of competing, and fair play to that. Shovk horror that some transfers eork, some dont, and some dont make it over the line
  3. Why are you bothering argueing with this clown ? He clearly doesnt understand how modern football works
  4. Wouldnt surprise me if he is near the team this week
  5. The rumours that it would be between 6 and 10 weeks ? Looking at the pictures I wouldnt say some of us were far wrong
  6. He isnt here to sign players or get involved in the footballing side, if he was I would be very worried, but in short he isnt. Yes he is on the committee, along with other members, this doesnt mean that he himself is finding targets himself or even having a big say on them. Im all for a group opinion btw, it stops situations such as QPR or Liverpool under king kenny. From the academy, U21s and U18s point of view I cant see the arguement, he has spearheaded a great project here, and has been tasked with finding ideas from excellence centres elsewhere, having seen some plans etc the new academy is going to be fantastic, added to this our class one status. Him interfering with the team is utter utter tripe btw As for the national teams abject failure, that is more a widespread thing than anyone in the FA can sort, a slow reaction to changing coaching ideas and a preference to cheaper foriegn products added to any young talent being bought and stagnating on top four benches has more to do with our slump than anything else. The FA bigwigs insistance that we should play big money spinners instead of giving experience to young hungry prospects has stiffled things. Id also like to see the same rules that apply to full internationals apply to youth tournaments, in the respect that if you are picked you turn up and if not should be banned from playing until the said tournament ends.
  7. We will help you through this tough time turks, if you need to talk PM me
  8. Thinking about entering this http://toughmudder.co.uk/
  9. Its worth trying a plyo workout though, great for leg work, and will get you fit quick. It hurts though, stairs are the enemy.
  10. Im not entirely sure here, but I think that was meant to be an obvious jest.
  11. This was my thoughts, but then a season takes a lot out of professionals these days, bless 'em
  12. Its hard work, very hard work, really works your core, everything that you do will leave you hurting. Ive stopped doing the full workout TBH, I use the recovery session and a couple of the plyometric circuits to go along with what I already do at the gym. Its easy enough if your fit enough, if you have never done any plyos before beware, I can honestly say you have never felt DOMs until you have done an insanity or P90x plyo circuit.
  13. Fwiw Targett is said to be as good as Shaw at least. On another note, can we have some variety ? Right back ? Striker ? Bloody goalie ?!?!?
  14. Its a long way for you to go but I appreciate the effort attempting to buy the very best produce, do Ocado not come into leigh park any more ?
  15. You dont know about the waitrose in Portswood ? All genuine saints fans know this ? Well, in the fruit bowl you need to devide the weight of the breast by a factor of 5 minus the age of the apples in the bowl
  16. In the fridge or the fruit bowl ?
  17. Yup, this is Saints web forum has it finally clicked your not on the blue board ?
  18. The 17 yr old, 2 months younger than Shaw is seen as the long term successor of Shaw Lol
  19. I dont think he has a big voice in things, but then I wasnt 100% that Reed was on the committee so I may be wrong. As a semi-informed guess though Id assumd it was continuity related.
  20. Hunter is in there aswell, I know that much, not seen anything written down but yes, Reed being there is a worry, but then how much top flight exp has Adkins got ?
  21. Adkins picks the team, Adkins picks the tactics, I can promise you that
  22. He was tasked with getting the academy up to scratch, now I dont like the man but he has done that, he looked at other elite training centres, took ideas and built what we have now. That is what he is good at TBH and from that respect I have to applaud his efforts. If he is identifying targets though then yes I agree, not that there is any real evidence he is on the committee
  23. I am fully aware of how a wide man should operate, I have played and coached the game long enough. This is Adkins though, love the man but makes some very very strange decisions at times, sometimes they work others are utter failures. I mean, Stoke, they go down to ten men, our so called big defender hasnt handled long balls well anyway, lets get everyone behind the ball and try to soak it up ?!? When have we been able to defend all season anyway FFS ??
