I think we could tempt broja, I doubt he’ll get a starting role in a PL this year, he could do with a career restart and a team battling at the top of the Championship would probably be a good start Ings.. I agree, I was speaking hypothetically
-
Not sure about Ings It seems like an absolute dream signing potentially, and he should fit the tactics perfectly But then you factor in his age, injury record and the fact he hasn’t looked the same player since the season BEFORE he left I think Id personally go and tickle Chelsea’s balls for Broja

I did some reading and I don’t think thats true actually… I heard on Talksport they needed to be in SA 2 years but I can’t find that anywhere So its TS talking shit by the looks of it
-
Its only tax free if it out of the country for 2 years
-
I don’t really understand the point you’re trying to make ? The reason I think Lavia was more important than JWP is because without the underrated work that Romeo did/does the rest of the team wouldn’t function JWP cannot effect games if it wasn’t for Romeo allowing the team to maintain shape and win the ball back

Doyle is a great CB, and I do think he could of done well here… there is no option though, as they couldn’t afford it Its a straight loan
-
If you’re referring to Doyle that would be the one they got on loan that they couldn’t agree on the buy clause ? Because they couldn’t afford it ? Or Winks that came in to replace Tielemans ? Or Coady who looks like is replacing Evens ? Yeah doesn’t add up does it……
-
Leicester need the money as they are genuinely staring down the loaded barrel of FFP and general cash flow issues They’re a mess
-
Lavia And if I was to chose someone to coach the Saintsweb football team it wouldn’t be you 😂
-
We looked a shadow of the team without him… you literally cannot have 11 players all attempting to ‘play killer passes’ etc, you need somebody to take the pressure off and give us the bedrock to progress from There is a reason good No.6’s are expensive, they are an absolute prerequisite to most.. if not all modern tactics Lavia was probably out biggest asset In ‘affecting’ results, in the sense that we were completely uncohesive without him
-
He’ll play a part I think, he’s a tidy player in possession he just doesn’t really do much
-
Yeah I was never sure about that tbh, its a personal thing but Stephens has always been a reactive only CB, he just doesn’t show any signs of a modern day proactive CB for me I also always thought he was a bit shaky under pressure and so far has shown that in both friendlies Bednarek looks ok, I actually think with the right partner he could have a very good season but Id rather that not be Stephens
-
Um… at a basic level, if you understand trading at support and resistance levels then Crypto, especially when its bullish is perfect because of its volatility.. you can trade it like any other asset or currency but it tends to offer you more opportunities The differences are trend reversals can be hard and the market always shits itself in either direction depending on Bitcoin price action BUT I made a fair amount during the last bull cycle leveraging support/resistance lines… just make sure your stop losses are super tight in the opposite direction.. i.e if you are longing support then set a stop loss just under support etc Ive not traded again with it yet as the market got really stale post Russia/Ukraine so I moved most of my trading money into the S&P 500 so I might mess about again if the Crypto market starts to wake up abit
-
I don’t think he plays that way really, it feels more like he wants width from his FBs and the two supporting midfielders are more of an 8 with the 6 dropping into a back 3 The two ‘wingers’ will probably operate as inside forwards ‘although’ he did have tino pushing inside a bit against Goztepe, I just don’t see that being his MO come Sheff Wed
-
I fucking hope we don’t start with Stephens in a possession based system
-
I think we’ll see 4-6 depending on outgoings, Id say we’re on 2 right now not counting Abu or the City academy guy (Mcnamara) The final figure will of course depend on outgoings Id also bet we’ll be the league’s biggest spenders unless Leeds new owners decide to throw the kitchen sink at it
-
Ahh tbf… there is plenty of money to be made from Crypto, although Ive changed my view on it as not something really that I would be comfortable investing anymore than 15% of my net worth into… but trading, if you are applying safety into your trades, is very profitable
-
I believe we are looking at strikers
-
In a similar way to how Lavia was unproven ?
-
Ahh I see you’re one of them… fair enough
-
I think Ill definitely say time > money but that is an easy statement to make if you are at a point where you are financially comfortable What I ‘would’ say is time isn’t as important when you’re a bit younger, of course its lovely being able to piss it up all day if you wanted, in your 20’s, but its vastly more important to be able to witness your young family grow, so trying to get yourself into a position to do that is priceless imo Of course thats no disrespect to those that actively chase the money hard, we’re all different Ive always found chasing more knowledge/responsibility is better in the long run to chasing immediate recompense…. Knowledge/responsibility generally has more longevity and doesn’t work you into the ground
-
Watford etc and even us are different because you’re still constrained by FFP, albeit it is a work around.. for instance we ‘could’ get Goztepe to buy Che Adams for 30m but it’ll effect Goztepe’s FFP levels eventually The issue with the Saudi involvement in Newcastle and the SPL is they could effectively allow any or even all of the Saudi clubs to buy Newcastle deadwood at inflated prices which then allows NUFC to increase their FFP thresholds The other crap you’ve waffled on about is just laughable whataboutery you read on the internet so im not even going to bother responding
-
😂 done 3 of them, its just not cool anymore
-
Teflon Turkish
-
I know not really Saints related but this is what is going to destroy FFP governance and it’ll be interesting to see how the PL deal with it Effectively the Saudi’s own both Newcastle and the SPL and Id suggest will enable them to move players between the two that effectively circumvents the issue Its a problem
