What every man thinks about apart from sex

Never boring being a saints fan. Also you can put money on the fact that if a team has not won/scored in x amount of games, we will lose and if they have won x amount of games we somehow fashion a win.

Because it is an oppurtunity to character assassinate and further p*ss and moan towards the club. Out of interest how many clubs have fans forums ? And fans dinners ? Also we were never going to spend big in the January window unless we would spend an extortionate amount of money buying players that would have been at the time over-rated. Most people could understand that this was the case, others just don't quite grasp the concept. I would like to know what is happening about ST's however and whether the installment plan is to be reintroduced. Perhaps if there is any more info on stadium plans both upgrading and upgrading the surrounding areas ??

Morgan, Guly and Lallana -
True but a lot less boll*cks would be shouted

Ahh, yeah i suppose my bad. I assumed wrongly that we would have done that at Walsall, so yeah, i suppose we should have had some sort of minutes silence.

Out of interest ? What were we expected to do ??

I hope you break all your fingers

Saved by the bell - There is a widespread notion that the phrase is from the 17th century and that it describes people being saved from being buried alive by using a coffin with a bell attached. The idea being that, if they were buried but later revived, they could ring the bell and be saved from an unpleasant death.

Tigers are the biggest of the cat world i believe, so not really a suprise really.

I don't get it

LOL On another note, can it please be noted i have never reported anybody and certainly didn't report Hypo for calling me Spastic Saint, its pretty obvious we don't get on, but i really am not sad enough to get annoyed and so report his posts or ignore him. Personally i think that the infractions route is a good idea, i also have recieved warnings in the past, this is IMO also a decent idea for those of us that don't continually push the boundries. TBF, unless someone complains about being abused i don't think infractions should be given out unless they seriously break forum rules i.e racism, libel(tough one) etc etc

Its like the conversation i had the other day with a mate about Guly, his exact words were that he was speaking superlatives about what he brings to the team and commented on a work colleague that borrowed his ST whilst he was away to pay attention to Guly's movement etc and what he does. His colleagues assessment was that Guly was easily the worst player on the pitch and he didn't get what my mate was on about. My comment was 'Depends on what you are actually watching out for though doesn't it' For some you simply HAVE to stand out on the pitch to be the best player for instance the guy in the tyro league getting MOM for scoring a goal, never mentioning a defender that had a stormer or a midfielder that won the ball, beat a player and played a cracking ball that the striker just couldn't miss. Sometimes its the players that don't stand out that make the most impact. (Puncheon not necessarily included in that last paragraph)

Must have been the way you wrote the reply then sorry

The meaning of Life, The Universe and Everything
Smirking_Saint replied to dubai_phil's topic in The Saints
League one will only continue to be a harder and harder league to escape from, as much as the elite in the Premiership will continue to accelerate away from the mediocre mid range clubs the championship and consequentely those that are dumped from it will equally continue to become better. Jesus, even the likes of Crawley town are more then likely going to be a decent enough team given a few years with the finances at their disposal. Look at the NPC currently, realistically every team in that league has on paper a equal enough chance to beat each other, the league is very very open, yes, you can see potential front runners and laggers but in reality they are all in a decent enough shout to be promoted. Then look at the teams that may be relegated. S****horpe, Sheff Utd, Palace, Preston, four of those are 1st division teams, and added to a league 1 that is already starting to fill with decent teams vying to get out. We need promotion, we need it this season, this league will only become harder and harder to escape from season after season. Personally I think we will manage it but even in the NPC it will be not be easy. I do though think we will be ok, no matter what people say our form has been pretty consistant since Adkins has turned up, I can't see those around us carrying on for the next 15 or so games. We have the squad to achieve promotion one way or another, i honestly think it will end up more a two horse race then it appears and us and Brighton will pull away from the pack, them 1st us 2nd. Personally part of me doesn't care if we get promoted into the nomans land that is the prem, we will have to sell our soul to make it into the elite. -
Is he a mod then ?

Less of the sarcasm please chaps, but lets face it, its not a million miles from the truth

Not really a show without him

Exactly this Can we infract anyone who reports as being a little bit too serious ??
-
Leave Deppo alone ( in pure Britney fan glory) TBF he brings a bit of life to a forum that has died a lot over the past few years
-
Deppo didn't report him ??

I agree with all you say mate, unfortunately the average football fan does not appreciate the intricate nature of the football pitch, unless you are consistently hitting the target, beating players and making crunching tackles you are sh*t. This trait is somewhat magnetised within your standard northam seated mong.
