Thats all when and good. But if the replacements bought for the replacements of the replacements of the first 11 get injured we are well and truelly up sheet street.

There you go again putting words in peoples mouths. I am not saying BAN people without a STH from asking questions, also, on another note, how many of the 92 league clubs actually hold any sort of question answer time with their fans ?? How many fans who support football teams in the UK actually get a say exactly ??

Some people on this thread really need to take off their ultra defensive heads and realise i am not bad mouthing them as fans. FFS

"Customer Service" in this country is absolutely dreadful
Smirking_Saint replied to trousers's topic in The Lounge
Fair enough It was just what i BELIEVED to be the case i apologise if i made it sound like fact. I still think that in most cases call center workers see it as just a stop gap. But then i know that my companies emergency call center workers are paid very well indeed. -
How have you managed that then ?? Any news ? Good stuff BTW
-
IMO STH's opinions should be held higher than those on non STH's that is just IMO and i say that as a non STH

TBF when my Dell laptop packed up i made one quick phone call, they sent a courier round to pick it up and then about a week and a bit later it turned up. I understand the whole, we will be delivering between 8am - 6pm as it is sometimes hard to pinpoint when and were your staff are and what may happen in a day, especially if they have to deal with more than one customer. What really f*cks me off is when they say they will be there between, for example, 10am - 12pm and turn up at 9am or a time completely out of the time frame THEY specified and you miss them. -
Thats teenage years for you I have a plan, i always have worked with a 5 year plan, an old MD i used to work for talked me into doing them and adding certain milestones when I was 18. Seeing as i have worked in what is essentially project management it is easy to do it with your working life as it is with jobs. I am on the right track to get where i want to be, i'll probably keep working for a certain power distribution company until i reach the level of authorization i want and then make a career choice into what i want to do, the pension and share save schemes here are good but every now and again i get the odd urge to go into consultancy and eventually start my own business. Thats the plan anyway, i'll see how it goes, i have a lot of years ahead of me yet.

Well, ok, whatever, i'll say it again but clearer. - STH's have more of a right than anyone to question the clubs on topics as they are the ones that are more committed and suportive of the club as a whole. - Fans forums that can invite ANYONE will be open to ANYONE which means that they don't necessarily have to be Saints fans and will be more likely to turn up just to cause trouble. - As much as fans without STH's are entitled to their opinions and questions precedents to such events should not be given to them as they are not necessarily committed/suportive both financially and in other ways. - The dinner situation is a more fan friendly and IMO much more in depth way to get info across to fans (though i would like it if the club would post minutes etc on the OS) - How many other clubs do any sort of fans question/answer sessions ? - But yes, if you specifically want to ask questions and be listened to then yes, you should be a 'member' of said institution and so a STH
-
It is very hard to judge how much someone that is not a STH puts in though
-
You know what i meant, you are just being a tad pedantic now
-
And you know this ???? If so, how much did we offer ? Are we going in again etc etc
-
I couldn't go into a working mens club, to which i am not a member, and start banging on about how they should be doing this and that. I agree in premise, that everyone should be able to ask questions. But if you really push me on it then it should really be the STH's that get priority and yes more of a right to ask questions directly to the club. Its not really bizarre, i can't quite fathom how it cannot be seen that a STH is making a financial commitment to the club and a random joe bloggs is not. In reponse to Saintmatt, a STH is not a better fan, i am not saying that at all, so lets put those beating sticks away.
-
I can't tell when you are being sarcastic any more
-
I am not a STH this year BTW, for work and financial reasons (been a weird year this one). Funnilly enough if there was an instalment plan i would probably have plumped for one again this year but hey ho. Yeah, i can see they are good and allow many people to field their views, but i am firmly of the opinion that if you really want to be asking the club questions etc then you should really be supporting that club with a ST. That may just be IMO though.

I agree with that, as much as i prefer the way they are doing the dinners, i think that seeing as they announced the forum was moved, if it was cancelled they should say something. Of course, we don't know that the forum HAS been cancelled yet, and also TBF to Cortese he has done a few large interviews and these dinners which is a lot more than most clubs do.
-
I wouldn't say it is unfair at all, of course the sessions should be aimed at STH's as otherwise you could be any tom **** or harry. STH's should be treated better, offered deals and given priorities and rightfully so IMO.

Generally speaking most call center workers in this country will only be in a job for an average of 6 months, i think this is where the customer services problems come from. They will therefore probably not care as much as someone that is committed to being in a job for the long term, add this to the fact that some people couldn't give a sh*t and would happily dump a phone call as quick as possible. I am a manager/engineer in a major UK company, and as such as 1 or 2 managers in the office will happily get rid of customers that are not after them specifically most of us will try to answer any questions as much as possible. I helped out one lady today attempting to get a number for the debt collectors, i could have just said sorry love you have the wrong number. Its much more annoying that some of the customers seem to get the hump if i am not available to talk to the first time of phoning and don't seem to realise that i am not superglued to my desk. What company are we talking about Trousers ? Go on, name and shame. -
Totally agree, its what i wrote on the other DB thread we had earlier. Add to his impressive scoring record the fact that the new 25 man squad system now MUST include a certain amount of english players then you can see why this transfer fee is what it is. He is a good goal scorer and english, so thats two boxes ticked as far as Houlier is concerned.
-
What are you supposed to do ?? I changed its colour about 7 times then got bored ?
-
Isle of Wight festival and Glast if i can nick on in the re-sale.
-
25 man squads and the fact that he consitently scores goals ?? Perhaps a touch over priced but not overly IMO.
-
Liverpool have no real wingers, in fact, i struggle to find anyone you could class in their team as an actual wide man. Could Chambo fit in to the first 11 ?? Probably not, but stranger things have happened.

The Russians won't bend us too far over a barrell in regards to gas IMO. We will as a country however suffer for not getting our fingers out and building more Nuclear power as quickly as we have needed, our over reliance on a very messy and unreliable wind network is stupid IMO.
