  1. Over the moon with the transfer window. Apart from what the morons are saying, we needed to keep our best players which we did, secure the signings of Guly and Chaplow which we also did, dump the misfit puncheon and sign a replacement. Great great window as far as i'm concerned. As i said before i thought it would be difficult as the january window always is.
  2. .... a lot more recently, i thought that we had sorted out the issues ?? What is going on ? Are the upgrades we had a while back worth the forum falling on its ars* every 5 minutes ?
  3. So, Adkins has turned us into an attractive team playing attractive football and successful football. Why don't you like Adkins then ? Certainly better than the last egotistical dinlo we had.
  4. I have no idea what your one about ?? good team with probably the best manager in league 1, certainly better than the last one.
  5. Good signing, happy with that. Pace, can play upfront and on the wings. Funilly enough i saw him on TV the other day and thought that he looks good and wouldn't mind seeing him here.
  6. Happy with that, but how long until people are moaning we haven't spent millions and millions
  7. Its Forte 100% confirmed
  8. I know people have said Forte is not a great signing, but if it is him i will be happy. I have only really seen him on the TV but he is quick, ticky and direct.
  9. 35Million for Carroll ?? The world has gone mad
  10. He is english, which will always put his price up, but that figure is staggering. I am amazed that both he and Adam are currently valued at such huge prices considering there abilities.
  11. If fit Surman will play for Norwich. I like Barnard, he is a cracking little player. Not convinced with Jackson as i doubted his overall ability, especially to make the step up. He hasn't, FWIW i think Barnard could and for that reason i am out.
  12. I wouldn't vote for deadline day swoop either. Davis is fine until Summer, at which point we need a new keeper. And why is it for Tuesday ? I thought the thread was asking for an answer to the long term keeper problem.
  13. New keeper, as much as i respect what Kelvin did (though i suppose some will say its not that great, good money and 1st team footie) i just think to push on and move up in the championship we need a more well rounded keeper. Southampton FC have always had a good man between the sticks.
  14. Well, i see that Murray bottled it again big time, although i did say to the lads down the pub that i couldn't see him beating Djokovic in his form ATM. Murray really needs to win something soon or else he is going to get his own confidence and mental problems blocking him from actually going all the way. Unfortunately, for all Murrays promise he looks as though he may become another nearly man. Its a toughie i suppose seeing as he is fighting in a time that has stars such as Nadal and Federer but that will never ever wash as an excuse in the long term.
  15. Whatever the choice is we will need a new No.1 next year.
  16. I can't believe that A\ people are slagging off Dickson for probably his first touch of the game and B\ Saying Adkins bottled it
  17. Oh and we need to be more clinical infront of goal, i know they are prem quality but they had two half chances and made them count. We missed a couple of easy chances and when the ball was pinging around the box we seem to have no poacher to tuck it away, this isn't just confined to this match BTW, we havn't been making the most of our chances all season.
  18. Chaplow was good but no where near in the same bracket as how the full backs and especially Morgan played yesterday. He controlled the midfield and made Gibson and Anderson look very average, its also worth noting that even though everyone around me was slagging Guly off i said we would look very average and wouldn't keep hold of the ball if he went off. This happened. Guly was everywhere ghosting into positions and generally being a nuissance, all in all it was a great game and we made ourselves proud.
  19. Schneiderlin was sensational today as was Butterfield and Harding.

  21. Yeah i have listened to a lot of the songs in the shed, liking a lot of the stuff on there. Which ex poster out of interest ?
  22. We still have access on a serious amount of money, for that i am 90% sure. Give it time and plans will probably be revealed.
  23. Spot on
