Agree with the two above posts, he is a great great prospect that could either be over played or could gain a big injury and put his future in doubt. I really hope niether of those happen. He is however a fantastic impact sub and in all honesty could be utilised in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Punch, Ox and lallana playing if we could, i think we would look very good in that situation. All in all though, one of the best young players i have been privaliged to witness.

Ormerod is and was a good player, just the usual anti-player mongs usuing him as their latest anti-saints player in the PL. Without him Beattie would have had another mediocre season.

I don't like the diamond, i don't think it works. I would play a 4-5-1 however or a 4-4-1-1 and allow Lallana that little bit of freedom behind the striker. Whatever happens we still need to keep our width. LM is a good position atm for adam, he did more than enough to impress me last year.

I am impressed with his industry, but not so much his passing. If we can get him cheap he is atleast better than Hammond and Wotton. But not what i would call what we NEED in the middle next to Morgan. Another thing on the Punch debate. Why is it when Lallana loses the ball as he has no-one supporting him he gets the sympathy vote and people say 'he should be supported better' however when it happens to Puncheon he is crap and un-decisive ?

I think he is too. I still think we need to sign a quality holding midfielder this january or just a decent and disciplined CM that can actually pass a ball. Personally i don't think that Morgan is a holding player, i think he yearns to be let of the leash a little and when i saw him play for France with a bit of ambition in the Toulon tournament i thought he looked the real deal. Hammond for me is just not up to the quality of our squad, i think he is a good player at this level but will struggle taking the step up. His passing range isn't good enough for a team that now is attemping to play a passing game, nor is his movement, he just isn't on the right wavelength. Its also the time i think to look into striking replacements for January. Connelly for me has had it, even if he returns from yet another injury i think he is past it. I have been impressed with Seaborne coming on strong and Harding playing his heart out defending his left back position.

I don't think he is anywhere near as bad as is made out tbf. There must be a bash a player band wagon going around and Puncheon currently has his name on it. If anything though it shows the state of the quality we have in the first 11 to have a player that shows so much class and effort to be the focus of boos. Don't get me wrong he isn't hitting the peaks of last year, and his confidence is down but he still recieves the ball more than any other player for a reason, and that is that his team mates know the quality he possesses.

No i can agree i had an entire front line out, only to sign more forwards on loan and them to get injured aswell, at one point i was fielding youth players as my only forwards. The amount of managers that get sacked is equally rediculous.

Walcott has been injured every time he has looked like shifting up a gear, which is unfortunate. I think Walcott needs some game time and a real run in the side, i wonder if Arsenal was the best place for him ? Bale is class however, real class and still very young, he has the potential to be one of the best but is not there yet.
