Not really selective Le God, just current facts. Like i said, i have no motive, i am just puting my opinion out there we need to improve next season. Unlike some i have no desire to attempt to sway opinions, so i am not going to be selective. When argueing you have to look at both sides. I have changed my overall assessment, this season was probably harder than expected, i still think we could have reached the playoffs without the need of a miracle. But mainly i am dissapointed with our overall performances.

Can't argue with those points Sheff Saint. Next year hopefully we will be a little stronger, in my eyes i can't see a lot of changes to the playing staff, barring any exits which i hope not, especially our core of Davis, Fonte, Spiderman, Lambert. We need to be more clinical and more professional, grinding those results out and scoring those goals which we seem to miss from 8 yards. IMO the top 6 (bar us) will not be as strong anyways.

Leeds almost got automatic promotion and started on minus 15 - Fact (though they ****ed it up in the playoffs !!) My point was that i thought it was achievable to reach the playoffs, we are not going to but hey ho. My main point are our performances, bar a good little run when we went on the 3-1 spree we have been far from convincing, even up to now. We need to sort out the stops and starts and find a decent run of form before next season imo. Thats all, i am not one for the 'it will all be ok next year' as viewing our performances right now i am not sure it will. That said, fair point to the OP, the league has been a lot more difficult this year but for me our overall performance has not been good enough. 1 win against the top 6 and at times struggle against the lower teams. If the above makes me a moaner so be it.

The way we are not currently dealing with the smaller teams and the fact that we have only beaten 1 team out of the top 6 is pretty much a sad indicament to me. If someone wishes to come and tell me why next year, in which we will have IMO 80% of the same team we have now (why would we have another spending spree ?), will be fundamentally different then go ahead ?? No about of statistical manipulation will pull the wool over my eyes, we are not performing well enough, and that needs to change sooner rather than later.

Pulled out of the england squad and has also pulled out of any potential part in an England world cup squad. Now, i understand how much he is going through etc but in my eyes he is now trying to be too much of a victim in all this. I do however see the fact that his inclusion will bring with it a lot of media coverage and distractions. It is a shame however, but now it looks like leighton Baines can take his chance. It's not the clubs fault tbf. The cheating c*nts that have caused all this will never be properly punished however which is sh*t. Lobby the FA to stop being so limp wristed and ensure a fit and proper persons test would be better.
