Form this season used for prediction for next?

A load of useless guff backed up by some powder puff bickering. Cheers all -
I vote for your avatar

Amazing video, she is uber talented and hot. It has been posted before buddy. But Kudos for it coming up again, i still enjoy it.

I also have my worries about his footballing brain/tactical side of the game. Whether he has been coached that way or not. He doesn't track back enough and pulls inside too easily. Shame as the boy has his talents, i still have faith he will come good.

Another Winger Surely Not Alan Pardew is keen on Albert Adomah
Smirking_Saint replied to John B's topic in The Saints
AA has been well talked up as a decent prospect, i have not seen much of him but heard a lot. TBH, he must be a better player technically then Antonio who flatters to decieve. I like Papa but he is more a striker and the signing of Barnard has probably negated the chance of getting him on a perm, although personally i would rather see some much needed pace playing off Lamberts flick ons and forced errors. Also, whoever said play the wingers on there proper wings are spot on IMO. -
Didn't know that, just a sh*t pitch then. I was thinking though. If i can play with a reasonable touch and i am sure many other forum posters can, on sh*ty council pitches etc. Then i am sure i can play on something as green and flat as St Marys. So why oh why can professionals who train every day and by all accounts have better first touch technique and match sharpness then me or any of us. Blame a crappy pitch ?? You just adapt your game to suit and get used to it.

I can see your point, unfortunately he is young and lacking a bit of composure. He is however a very talented player and one i wouldn't want to lose out, his touch and technique are fantastic, and those two things are something that IMO cannot be taught past the age of about 15 or so and in most cases is natural. You either have it by then or you never will. He takes people on, he is creative and he is unpredictable. I agree he misses a few chances and now and again his strikes are not so much powder puff as some have said but are very rushed. I have been there, he has obviously been g'eed up by pardew as you can see he is putting so much heart into his performances, closing down etc. When you have not scored in a while you at times rush your chances and you just don't connect properly. IMO that is what is going on, the coaches need to get hold of him and teach him some more composure.

No but i never turn down the chance of watching a pair of bouncing babylons, unless of course they are sported by a spoty 14 year old

Lol i was going to say this. TBH, 75% of our game is a hoof to rickie and 100% of woodens is an ametuerish one.
-
Yup, the Wigan game sunday on the tele the pitch was dreadful again, i can only assume that was because of the egg chasing.

I mentioned about our efficiency in front of goal in the post match thread, i just don't get it, we have Lambert and Barnard, then the likes of Papa and Lallana and even now puncheon and for some reason they are scared to put it in the back of the net. We have passed up easy finishes far too many times. As for AL, i rate him, i woulnd't drop him, i get the fact that he is not quite as dominant as he was early season (tho very good against MK's and poopey) but i feel that is because he is seen as a threat and so gets crowded out, but this has it's benefits as it takes opposition players out of the game.

Which Saints Products Would You Take Back?
Smirking_Saint replied to TijuanaTim's topic in The Saints
Watched Mills a couple of times when Reading were on the tellybox, namely against Liverpool. I really rate the lad, and think he would have a decent future. Shame we had to sell him as he would've fit right into our defence both last year and this. Other than that, Surman, Bale, hell we have had quite a few decent exports, lets get the academy machine working again shall we NC ?? -
We could get some decent cheerleaders like some of the other teams have, i seem to remember the West Ham ones being particularly tasty. Was it me or were ours all 14 year olds ?? Which sort of takes away the point. Or, indeed follow Scudo's above post
-
He is doing OK, not amazing but ok, i for one would want to see him see out that 18 months he was promised, i still think he can do well for us. When we perform we really perform but Pardew needs to start instilling that ruthlessness and passion that will not see us become complacent against the lower teams. I also agree with Derry, i for one like to watch wide players get wide, get to the byeline and cross those crosses that make strikers smile and defenders crap themselves. So that would be punch on the left and lallana on the right. I though we would be playing better football under Pardew, but too many times (as good as a weapon as it is) we get stuck playing long ball to Lambert whether it is working or not.

This pretty much sums me up Chez, and i will take that as it is pretty much what i have been saying for ages. Especially that in bold which a few on here are failing to grasp, I am not ending the world because of our couple of losses but at some point they need to be seriously addressed or else it will be the same next season. As always Chez you bring some relief to the board, and i always look forward to your posts as you seem to have a decent footballing head on your shoulders. Cheers

Yeah i noticed that, was 3 pages long when i last looked lol

I did answer it, problem is you can't do anything about those transient fans that you talk about, every club has them and always will. We are getting decent numbers now but back in the prem we were filling the ground every week. This sort of thing happens, it always will and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Whatever their reason for being there, they pay their money, they may buy a pint and a pie and for those 90 minutes they are there to support the team.

Don't ever go on away day again Stevo, especially not wembley
-
But it is about being better isn't it ?? Like you just said, if i didn't go just because we are not winning that makes you a better fan ? In my eyes thats all just BS, it doesn't bother me in the slightest what anyone else in that whole stadium is doing or doesn't do, whether they are there for free or not, just because they are there is good enough for me. As long as i get a seat to watch my team thats all that matters, and as long as for instance those fans that have supported home and away this year get the in demand (like JPT final) tickets over the every now again fans which is right then it doesn't matter. F*ck me saying those that only pop down now and again can f*ck off is pathetic, every team will have a certain amount of transient supporters, why does it bother you so much their reasons for being there ??

At the start of the season i still believed that the playoffs were probably achievable, and i definately thought we could do it when we went through our good run. I just think it a shame as in my mind even with the minus 10 we could have got there. But hey ho, there have been some decent results and the cup run has been fantastic, however we really need to start playing like a team capable of automatic promotion next year and now is the time to start working on that. Is it time to call for Pardews head ?? No i think that is far to early to say, he has spent a lot of money and has assembled a good team but we need to get them to start working like we know they can and start playing against the small teams the way we played against norwich. Next season this has to happen, lets not just fool ourselves all will be different next year and we will be a steamroller if we are not now. Pardew has 16 or so games to instill the passion and win ethic we need to be successful, lets get behind him, in my mind its too early to question his ability.
-
So in essence, you are a plastic ?? As you can't go to every game ?? I really hate when fans divulge in the c*cktest of who is the better fan. Get over it, not everyone can go to every game and considering you are one of them then there are certain sayings involving glass houses and all that.

Good choice of trousers.

I used to work with him. TBF he was apparantly told to wind her up to get her going and thats why he gave the rant.
