It's Saturday in the Boardroom...

First one that made me laugh -
TBF, when u read through this thread it is almost like people are preparing for skates parachuting in and turning up in Uboats and the like. If you really are that worried don't go. I went to both the last home games and one away and to be honest never saw much trouble other than the odd Tw*t giving it some gob behind the safety of a police escort. You will be fine, don't worry.

So basically the reason was u forgot your ID ?? Answer - Don't forget your ID ?? Simples No offence Thorpey, but if it stops the yooth kicking some old dear in outside then fair play to the supermarkets, they have to protect themselves from the nanny state rules as well. I have not been asked for ID for ages tbf, tho my driving licence always sits in my wallet just in case. Sods law says, u don't have it you'll need it

Yeah, about that altered reality ??? Actually seen the goals yet ??? Or where you too busy thinking of your next intented target ??? I must ask NC, have you ever played football ?? As if you could not see the contribution that Waigo made on Tuesday than i really doubt your overall footballing knowledge. I do understand everyone has an opinion and i do try to accept everyones but unfortunately you constantly attempt to make your little points against the grain which is a real shame as you do at times post some very valid points.

How did they get out of that one !!!!!

He can be a hot head yeah but he shows real passion at times and tbh had a good game last night. I don't rate him at CB but he plays well at RB and looks pretty solid, we all know he is just a brute really but if it helps us win games so be it. The lewington challange was a bit late but the way i saw it he swung for the ball and the wotsit ran into him. After that you could see all the dons players talking and you juts knew they were going to try and get him sent off. He shouldn't have run over to the incident but he wasn't the first to raise his hands, that sh*tty moaning and whinging Dons N.9 pushed him away and i for one wanted to see Thomas knock him out !! All game he was p*ssing and moaning to the ref. Nice to see Thomas reminding Rae who was going to Wembley as he walked off and a cheeky wave to the Dons back line, great stuff, will be interesting to see how the away game up there pans out !!

No end product ?? He caused the Dons back line all sorts of problems all night last night, never let them settle at all and pulled them around all over the place leaving gaps for Lambert and Lallana to exploit. He also set up Lambert for the first goal if i remember correctly and also won the ball and played a delightful ball across the 6 yard box from which the Dons CB could have scored another own goal before putting it out for a corner. Similarities to BWP ?? Behave, BWP was a terrible player and i never saw him change a game in the red and white in the same way that Waigo has done when coming on from the bench nor cause the panic to a defence as Waigo did last night. Waigo fully deserves the MOTM many on here have awarded him, sometimes i wonder if you write this nonsense just on the wind up ?

Great night, great atmosphere created. We seemed to have complete control until about the 40 minute mark at which point the dons started to make their way into the game, from what i saw this was due to their CB's beginning to win the ball off of Rickie in the air (which seems to be around 80% of our game lately) Was good to see Hammond back, he had a good game last night, not the most technical of players but definately there to break up play and stifle the oppositions attacks and was what we have needed for a few games now. Antonio just didn't impress me again, a couple of good runs but he is technically not very good, i hope we can mould him into a more complete player as he has a lot of rawness. Lallana tried very hard tonight, what i like to see. You could see he gets 2 or 3 players against him whenever he is on the ball but deserved his goal tonight. Fonte was calm and assured as usual and always organising from the back. Waigo was my MOM though, masses of industry and pace, never allowed the back line to settle and i lost count on how many lost causes he managed to get ahold of. He definately looks a good prospect as a foil for Lambert and again has got me wondering why we have purchased Barnard ?? Waigo needs to start permanently here imo. Best chant of the night ??? "You f*cking look like a wotsit" !! Brilliant

+1 TBH it puts life into perspective.........namely not getting your kaks twisted over something that doesn't really matter. -

Jesus christ it was a small joke, some people really need to take their head for a sh*t. -
The league was my priority, i just can't see it being achievable now which i believe to be a real let down. We don't even appear to be even competing at the correct level. I understand everyone saying that we are not losing but in reality is that what we feel we should be achieving or just good enough ?? A JPT win will hopefully but a little bit of gloss on this season and i am willing to forget this season, however anything other than automatic next year will be catastrophic

My grandfather was a cheif petty officer in the royal navy. He never spoke much about his war experiences as they haunted him a little bit, it is a shame though as the time he took to talk about them were so interesting and me and my dad often thought what a read it would be if he ever found the time to write about them. I know he travelled a lot, he had a lot of ornate things from around different parts of the world, he was also sunk twice !! He spoke of how once they were told not to wear a life jacket when sunk in the south china seas as it was better drowning then being eaten by sharks. He also sailed in 3 times on D Day and marched with a troop of comando's to take Normandy. Also sailed in some river in Borneo to save some sort of Lord or what not. Shame, i really miss him at times. I never really asked him much as i do think he saw a lot he wouldn't want to remember. Oh, and he was on the art royal around the time they sunk the Bismark, though i don't know if it was involved or if he was actually there etc.
