  1. What league you in ?? Don't worry just looked, and challenged you. Dunno, really, about 1k for you in that league probably. I would concentrate on just building a decent team, worry about TSI and stuff latter. Also build up the stadium.
  2. Sh*t ain't it ?? 'Coming out on the p*ss this week ??' 'Nah mate, i have ground rent to pay' Where you living then ??
  3. GOAL : I think Bart will do ok so long as he keeps his confidence in check, i would however believe that AP is probably looking for a Loan here in case KD has set backs or Bart becomes shaky jake again. .... Perhaps a Loan signing DEFENCE : Keen to watch this space, obvious to me that the defensive part of the team needs work, Trotman became a little flappy for a while but i would expect him to come good. If not or if he is returning to PNE then i expect AP will look for a new aquisition here. ........ Perm or loan signing here, perhaps Ward but doubtful. MIDFIELD : I think we seem strong enough in an attacking sense here, but agreed we need to sign a decent defensive midfielder to cover the back four. ....Perhaps two signings in this position, one perm and one loan. Expect to see a DM come in. STRIKERS: Tricky one, provided that Saga moves on then yes i would imagine that we bring in another striker. Lambert and Lallana definately need cover in case they get injured however we do have Connolly and the young scot (forgot his name) so i don't expect any big moves here. ..... Perhaps a permanent signing of a youngster here, i think not much will happen without injuries. He may shock us with another decent striker to challenge. Part 2. I have not heard any rumours at all as of late. I can see pards moving for people in january, he also said about completing a loan signing before the window closes so i can see something happening soon, perhaps a keeper ??? I believe Saga will move on, Pulis will leave, and lancashire will extend his loan to the end of the season. Would be nice to extend Melis, Trotman (or perm) and antonion's loan deals to provide cover and competition. Thats my guess, it all depends on how tight ML keeps his purse strings, and whether AP feels a promotion push is justified.
  4. Just save what you need from the hard drive and do a destructive write to wipe the drive ??? Then you can re-load windows and hopefully have no problems ?? If you take this course i also suggest splitting the HD and having a windows portion and data portion for the next time XP f*cks itself up.
  5. Well, it looks like the season that promised much is coming to an end and the team will be lounging around in second place. A shame really, a team that has dominated the scoring charts. Last seasons championship winning side and unfortunate promotion losers were unable to repeat the form of last year (unbeaten) and found themselves losing two games to the seasons other challengers. A season of building a decent youth team and strengthening the side with two excellent stikers, an excellent defender and midfielder just did not pay off. I have improved the Arena to 26,750, with work going on to bring it up to 30k, i hope to improve some more to up the income, hopefully this will allow for me to piece together a better side for next year. Top spot is still possible mind you, but not looking likely. Either way i can't see me being in the running for promotion this season even if i do win the league. So, quick question, my youth team keeps getting battered, but seem to have some decent youngsters, how do you know where to play them ??
  6. Yeah agreed Stevo, we can still make the Playoffs in my opinion, but we need to sort things out at the back, and quick. We have the threat going forward. It won't take as much as people think to slowly climb up the table. We need to get out of relegation places, IMO that would change everything around the club
  7. I would wait a year for Windows 7, let them sort out the bugs first, then pick it up when it comes down in price a bit
  8. It is also worth thinking about what would have happened had we lost the falklands ??? IMO we would seriously dented our military power at that time and removed us from being one of the major players. It could have had major consequences
  9. It is very interesting TBH, thanks for the post
  10. Hmmm, yup, i thought that would be the general concensus. Men go to football with their mates, men like beer and pies. Therefore, i have to have a social pint at half time. What does amaze me however is after the game, the amount of tw*ts driving yet still attempting to drive the crowds off the roads. The football has just kicked out you f*cking idiots !!! WHAT DO YOU EXPECT ??
  11. Meh, not a fan myself but got offered a freebie in kingsland
  12. Yeah, i think you are probably right, but if we can get things going, just nicking a playoff place is not beyond the realms of impossibility. I would rather give it a shot then a pointless Cup campaign that ends in nothing, obviously if we do well i will change my opinion !!
  13. Yeah, agreed, a decent day out at Arsenal would be nice. TBH i would rather we just concentrate on the league
  14. Thanks Hypo, TBH, i am pretty tired, it was pretty interesting, i just couldn't be bothered to read the rest. You downloaded it ?? Peado !!! Whats it like ??? Any decent Torrent sites ?
  15. I think Bart will make a decent goalkeeper, but he first needs to sort out his confidence. Sometimes he seems so so shaky.
  16. I am missing Weller at skate guildhall in a couple of weeks because of Uni, absolutely gutted. Made up for it by buying a ticket for the royal albert hall next may. Saw the Enemy this year, they were awesome, also say the 'Phonics, always a quality quality band. Sure i saw more than that, can't remember now.
  17. I remember reading the daily moan once and it said about how we lost 3-1 against some team and even talked about the goalscorers, i was gobsmacked as i was at the game and won 2-0, that was back in the prem days mind you. But it made me wonder how the sports editor completely missed it.
  18. Andy townsend.... simples, or perhaps stevie 'i can't bring myself to talk about saints' claridge
  19. Get there a bit early, have a Pint and a Pie. Perhaps a second pint. Put a few cheeky bets on. Get in the seat for Kick off. Go at half time for a pint and a p*ss, which is not as good a deal as pint and a pie i may add. Get back into seat for kick off second half. Not difficult. Sometimes i leave a tad early at half time if it is particularly sh*te. Don't leave early, whats the point ?? As for do the 5,10,15-minuters p*ss me off, only when they are sat near me, was sat in one of my mates season ticket seats the other day, with some randoms, and i couldn't believe the amount they were up and down, that p*ssed me off.
  20. Read half of it...then got bored
  21. I expect they will get a few no effort, no hopers looking for a 6 month pay day. As far as i can see (watching MOTD) they need to keep O'Hara as he seems to be puuling the strings.
  22. Hmm, currently trying to go until Dec 20th without a beer (vodka and whiskey allowed), and it is f*cking killing me. Also trying to lose weight so i can make (another) footballing comeback after crimbo. Why is it so much easier putting weight on ??? On another note, how are your five bellies stevo ?
  23. I have no disregard for Manure really, at least sir alex always goes out for the win, unlike Rafa 'park the bus' benitez and his bother bourinho was. TBF however, chelsea have got much better under carlo
  24. No idea HTH
  25. Plus don't they lose their african players for a month or so soon ??? Thats a potential 12 pts lost (maximum if 1 game a week)
