Think he just wants out now, there is obviously a firesale going on and like other people have said, players and staff do not jump ship if they believe things are going to come out rosey. Like many other saints fans however i would not want to see the club go out of business, i much prefer the banter and the fact that like the scottish against the english you have this unrivalled massive infactuation with us. Nethertheless, i believe that soon things will be back to normal and both teams will be in their rightful place, saints in the PL and the skates in league 1.

He plays really well on the flanks but i always play him upfront with a biggish guy. He scores loads and i can always rely on him. Check out that vincent acipandie aswell, he gets really good.

I am just pointing out the 'just proof the ambitions of the swiss are average at best bit' i really don't think they could have done any better really. Like TDD just stated, he is at a fantastic pedigree to be managing in league 1, and hopefully may be here for a long haul. Suggestions of KK and coppell were far wide of the mark IMO and WGS although he would have been a popular choice probably is not much better than pard's, as i said, he just had luck at the right time, where as pardew took on a freefalling charlton job.

Very true, but equally ML has already stated that he will invest where is needed to be invested, looking at the wealthy owners list we are what ?? 5th, 6th ?? If he manages to get us to the prem then we will still be a very attractive proposition, not only in the fact that we 'should' have money to spend but also because it will not be expected that we would stay up, so a good performance in the PL would be a massive bonus.

Lol, just read through the charlton thread, they really are a clueless bunch of c*nts aren't they ?? Saints skint ?? Have you not read the news ?? You lot are in 40 mil of debt guys and heading towards admin so i would keep the slimey mouths shut about punishment. Besides, think pardew will do ok, charlton tied his hands when it came to spending and they really were a dire dire football team, how we lost to them i really don't know. If Pard's goes in for shelvey i would be in dream land, i'd like to say asset strip the whining council estators but they really have not got anything worth taking.

I am very happy with this appointment TBH, although, strangely it has taken me a good 10 minutes to decide on this, whether that is down to it being 8 o clock or the fact that, as many have stated, it isn't quite the WOW factor that we had convinced ourselves it would be. Nethertheless a very good manager IMO, plays a decent style of football, has a good pedigree and i would imagine he is pretty disciplined with his squad which is what we need really. As for spending, he needs to start quickly and begin to rebuild, it is glaringly obvious that we have not got the squad to cope, probably would not need huge investment but a good 4 to 5 fresh faces to spruce the club up. It would not surprise me if he was backed either, if i was a manager coming in it would be said in the interview that we needed investment and equally that it will be a big(ish) task to get us promoted this season. But, considering the tripe we have had for the majority of the Lowe years and that we are league 1 i am very happy. Lets all give him our backing saturday, for once as a saints fan i am very optimistic. COYR's

Try a less chavy car ?? What do you drive ?? Also, if your gonna use the compare websites, use a fake name and the address next door, then phone the cheapest company direct after you have compared. That way you shouldn't get hit with the commision they take. Equally you could keep phoning different companies qouting some made up qoutes, 1 may match it.
