TBF, Davis was very much in talks with WHU but he got no stick. Problem is admin brings no securities, i don't blame him for looking elsewhere. Just hope that position is open for Wotte, he deserves something. Thanks to you wotte, you acted like a true gent But.... time to move forward
-
He was spoken to by SSN 4 hours ago saying that the club were happy with him for staying on and he was looking forward to a new challenge. When asked whether they could sign a new manager he said there is no point even discussing it. So... clearly he was unaware
-
Why not ?? He likes it here, he can begin the new era of saints, i believe he still owns a property down here ?? Family club ? Money ? Legendary status ?? Moving on up ??

SSN are reporting that Saints and Wotte have parted company

They may have had a word already ?? All has gone quiet on the WGS and coppell stakes too ?? Maybe they are looking to come back ?? Especially without Lowe, hopefully WGS can get us back on track
-
I have to agree, lesser men would have come no where near the saints. What happened to gavyn davies and all his millions ?? No where to be seen. Sorry for the loss crouchie but a massive thanks from me, stood up in saint's time of need.

As i said in the Wotte sacked thread, they must have done it noing a few names and with a candidate list ready. May even have someone ready to come in now. Hmm, new managers always get appointed on fridays Who could it be ?
-
Lol Just happened apparantly, i would assume they already have someone in mind however, or else there would be no point in making this so sudden ???
-
Wotte is gone. Feel a bit sorry for the bloke, he worked hard for us with no definate contract at the end of it all. Lesser men would have just walked away. Still Onwards and upwards, bring in Tisdale

Automatic promotion, build slightly on the squad we have and kick off, with a good strong attendance 'getting behind' the players we should do very well. Up the fitness levels, get a bruiser in the middle of the park and a creative dynamo. Think we can do it IMO. If not we have to be gunning for playoffs

Camara i can't see would ever come to us now, would be good though

Stop the moaning, your soon have time off work and a brand new knee !! Get sponged bathed by some eastern european who moonlights at a lapdancing club and fed the finest in hospital cuisine. Plus, you get to stay in bed during the week and watch jeremy kyle/catch up with your construction mates that are equally out of work

I heard there was a takeover happening on friday

Pretty sure Oldknow was on the board of Directors that veto'd all of the footballing directors off the board. I.e Crouch, Lawrie etc. Probably wrong though

'Ave it. Nah, i'm ok, also 100% agree with Saint_clark, he just couldn't get things right in the prem.

Definately need back up at left back, hopefully we will sign Murty, perhaps back up to CB positions but hopefully will keep thomas and sign Size. Right midfielder would be nice, however i think Thompson will kick on this season. We also need to sign a couple of midfielders IMO to replace the losses. I would also take a hit on Lallana and let him leave if thats what he wants, can't see how he will fit in. Also think we need a pacey winger to compliment either SJ or GR. Think Saga will go. TBH, a fair bit of investment is needed, bulk up the backroom staff also.
