  1. Suspect Fulham won't be paying him anything like the full amount Chelsea have been paying him. Deal will be done with Chelsea to compensate him for that. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  2. No, but he is a leader on the pitch, which is something that both Fulham and us sadly are totally lacking. He will help the other players around him play better and organise better in defence. I personally think it's that leadership and strength that our team is most obviously missing so I wouldn't mind if we signed a more senior player at the back, because that would improve us. 3. Being reported that Gary Cahill likely to sign for Fulham on a free. We should be all over that because he is the type of player who could keep up the likes of Fulham or us, both teams currently very poor defensively. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  4. Yes, agree with this. I don’t think Ralph thinks Long or Austin are better players than Gabbiadini but he knows that he needs to shift at least 1 forward out in order to get someone in who will better suit his way of playing. Austin and Long would be extremely difficult to shift without the club pretty much still funding all their wages in a loan deal. Whereas Gabbi has much more potential for selling with the interest in him in Italy, so he is the man to go. All makes sense, as long as we make sure we replace him with someone decent, so we don’t have to rely on Long and Austin! Really, the sooner a deal can be done for Gabbi the better so we can get on with bringing who Ralph wants in.
  5. Yoshida not getting picked was the most baffling part of the first few months of the season under Hughes. Was bizarre how he continued to be ignored despite consistently poor performances from the likes of Hoedt. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  6. Good luck to him, has been a key player for us in a very successful period for the club. Reckon he will still do well up there. Hopefully this and a few other outgoings can go through early in the window to give Ralph some space in the squad to bring in some new blood. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  7. Watch the replay. Jump tackle, both feet off the ground, over the top of the ball. Red card all day long. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah, I’ve noticed the whispering about the Guvnor too. Dave and Adam also seems to have developed an annoying habit of referring to Danny Ings as “Ingsey” in commentary lately, which seems a bit over familiar to me. So far, they have stopped short of referring to Redmond as “Redders” tho.
  9. Has been really good this season so far, really stepped up his level from last year. But that was stupidity of the highest order today and shows he still has a regular weakness for those sort of unnecessary over the top tackles. Needs to eliminate that from his game because he’s let everyone down by not being available for the next 4 games which will be a big miss and potentially could cost us vital points.
  10. Come on mate. A defeat against the champions isn't the best time to make a judgement about the manager. Things will get better, but it was always going to take time, especially as Ralph wants to radically change the tactics. He will need support from the club in January though to freshen up the squad (shifting players out just as important as bringing them in). Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  11. Still think we can stay up but the last 2 games has reinforced what a task Ralph faces to turn this team around. What worries me most is whether he can walk the line between being tough with the players (which most agree is required) but still install a good team spirit. Will be difficult and the January window will be key. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  12. Red all day long I'm afraid. Mental given the game is lost. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  13. Idiot. And the crowd applaud him off. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  14. Appallingly easy for City to pass it through us there. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  15. Really? Clearly not his interpretation. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  16. To be fair, pathetic if our fans were booing him. Not his fault we can't defend. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  17. Jesus. Are we trying to concede 6? Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  18. He’s been pictured in training regularly over the last couple of weeks. Does he only get injured on match days?
  19. Yep, agree it doesn't make much sense not including him when the other options are so limited. Valery, whilst promising in the long term, was cruelly exposed at times tonight, which cost us. He's just not ready or confident enough at this high level yet. Got to think a move is in the offing in my opinion otherwise don't get why he's not at least been on the bench. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  20. A shame for him having just made a breakthrough. Reckon he would have been first sub on again tonight if he was fit. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  21. I think Ralph has done great so far and I've got confidence that we will be fine this season, although in the short term, we may drop back into bottom 3 with our upcoming games. But I do think he made a mistake today playing Valery up against Andersson who was always going to be the main threat. He subbed him in the Huddersfield game and I thought it was quite likely he would be exposed in this one against better opposition. What we don't really know is what is going on with Cedric. It seems he is fit so possibly a move is being lined up? Otherwise can't understand why we haven't seen him in the squad in last couple of games. If Cedric does go, this game reinforces that we really need to sign at least one quality right back, possibly 2. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  22. And irrespective of whether it should have been a penalty we should be able to defend our goal from our own corner FFS. West Ham were by far the better side and our goal to go in front was fortunate and against the run of play. No complaints. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  23. I know Valery is young but today shows he's not ready for this level. Stephens or Cedric in for next game please. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  24. Get Austin on for Armstrong. Long won't score. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  25. We have certainly missed Hojbjerg. Use of ball by Rom and Lemina not good enough today. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
