He's had his time here, we already have another set piece specialist, someone who can pick a pass and hit a rocket shot in Rickie Lambert. I'd much rather get a pacy striker to compliment the likes of Barnard and Lambert if we get promoted next season. I'm thinking a Craig Makhail Smith type, or perhaps a Nathan Tyson.

It all depends on the severity of the Sprain, obvious indications show that there's heavy swelling around the Ankle, however there isn't a break. What Chamberlain would have done to aid his recovery is rest his ankle, ice it and obviously compress and elevate it. Take it from someone who had a similar injury in the past 5/6 weeks. That can take weeks off a sprain, so if all goes well he'll be available for the last 4 games. The comments from Adkins "we're totally shutting Alex off" in a couple of weeks the reassessment will be to do with how much he can turn and roll his ankle and if the swelling has disappeared entirely. If we're being optimistic he'll be back in light training in two and a half weeks and back to games in four weeks.

Sounds like a sprained ankle for Chamberlain. 4-5 weeks.

So far this season he's been a key player in our promotion ambitions and we often forget he is only 17. I'll admit I don't have a season ticket, I don't watch him week in week out, I want to know from those who do, how good you feel he is, and how good you feel he can be? Could he sign for Manchester United in the Summer and break into their team in a couple of seasons? Thoughts please.

Peterbrough have two tough away games against Sheff Wednesday and MK Dons. Thats when there promotion push will be derailed. Great at home but if teams stand up to their attack, then their confidence is fragile.

I think we can beat Bournemouth. Peterborough aren't very good away from home and they rely on Makhail Smith too much plus they have 3 hard away games in a row coming up. Brighton have this league sewn up I feel the only thing that can get them is complacency. Huddersfield keep dropping points too with 4 draws out of five. Bournemouth are on a good run however they've got some hard games coming up on the road too. What we need to do is to stop worrying about other teams around us and win as many of our games as possible.

Yes it's a bad result but if you look at the game we clearly were the better side who dominated with 11 shots on target goal to Walsall's 3 and 9 off target! The problem lies in that the chances we created and the way we played was obviously not THAT bad, however when we seemingly can't hit a barndoor with a Banjo and stick our chances away we set ourselves up for results like this. The reaction on here is over the top, the expectations of automatic promotion shouldn't be abandoned after one bad result however our away form must improve and Adkins who has been VERY positive has to give some players a dressing down for missing so many chances. We need to go on another run now and get a nice winning streak, the teams around us will mess up including Bournemouth the league table is set to change in the next 4 weeks, and this means our match against Bournemouth is a cup final. But I think we have the mental edge against them in terms of previous results and class and the fact they're a passing team, what we struggle with is direct teams, Bournemouth aren't that.

Okay my mistake we're third, one point off second with a game in hand. That is really not much to worry about, given that we'll be strengthening the team before the end of the transfer window. I did look at an outdated league table on the BBC. God why is everyone panicking suddenly?

I'm pleased we kept a clean sheet, Notts County are the form side right now and despite the fact we dominated, it was always going to be tough if we didn't get that all elusive first goal. Lets not have an overreaction to this, our great run was gonna get halted at some point, it's worrying that Chaplow, Hammond and Lallana are all injured, possibly a short term loan might solve this. Gobern will get better with games, and Guly can always come in and play in the midfield if we decide to sign him. That leaves Lambert and Barnard upfront. Another clean sheet so the defence is obviously doing something right and we're still second in the table.
