  1. I'd like to thank you for not only keeping within the code requested by the O.P. but for also removing any doubts about your ability to discuss a subject with due reverence. But, of course, this does not affect you personally (neither does it me for that matter). I just wonder if it was a member of your family, or H.M Forces, would your outlook be any different?
  2. Amazing? In some cases yes but this man has been behaving oddly for quite a while, prior to him going to Poland to become a 'pop star'!
  3. Dog, your previous link made slightly more interesting reading. It is alleged that Shaikh has mental problems and is actually suffering from a bi-polar disorder. Whether Shaikh is culpable is therefore open to conjecture. The fact that China has one of the highest execution rates in the world, and certainly breaches many commonly held 'humanitarian tenets', does not bode well for the fellow. I hope that the Chinese show clemency to him. http://www.reprieve.org.uk/akmalshaikh http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2009/dec/28/akmal-shaikh-execution-china-mental-illness Both the above detail the behaviour of a man who is certainly not of sound mind as I would view it! In the case of what would be deemed a 'normal' person drug trafficking then the choice is made by the trafficker!
  4. Sea anenomes perhaps?
  5. 5 Mins added on! 1-2, we can still get a point!
  6. Good Lord! We lose a game, against one of the better teams in this division, and some start squabbling with each other and calling names! Don't lose heart! This is not the end for Saints.
  7. Unlike the unsocial networking site that it is at the moment?
  8. Now there's a thought to hold on to. As long as we do it prudently and not in a spending spree which we could not afford.
  9. We have been spending but prudently enough. That itself is a declaration of intent with much aforethought. ML & NC certainly do seem to have their investment at heart and we lot, the fans, will slowly and surely reap the rewards for their hard work. Three points today would be brilliant and a signal to the rest of those above us that the Saints are marching on!
  10. Meh, I'd do it purely for that reason!
  11. Which, harking back to last year, was our biggest worry!
  12. The trouble with youtube is that bar on the right, where associated themes get displayed? Sometimes you're just a click away from tunes of equal quality and relevance.
  13. Loltastic!
  14. Looks like some of them are actually beginning to smell the coffee.
  15. This bit from the article made me chortle Quote "Grant, who as a former manager of Chelsea admits he is more used to dealing at the higher end of the table and the transfer market, was already facing a tough task to fill holes in his squad." Although he's allegedly had no problem filling holes elsewhere?
  16. I did not really take offence! Hence the smiley. Sorry if you thought that I did.
  17. Eastleigh! Don't mention us lot in the same breath as the blue few. Most disappointed, can do better!
  18. Dulldaze obviously stuck in 'sweeping generalisation' mode about Pimply fans. He's not normally like this, all the time, I think?
  19. Disaster Day? That's been almost every day so far this season for them! Must agree though, can't wait to see a tearful JPFCW doing his Ernest Hemingway piece.
  20. After the form of the last few months I have to agree. For me the play offs would be a fantastic achievement from our poor start (and all it's reasons) so I wouldn't be too disappointed at failing to make 6th.
  21. Hits. My son (eight) never asked for anything. He got a Scalextric, Real Power Workshop and loads of other smaller presents. So what was the hit? . . . Seeing his face light up at all the surprises. Misses? Precisely, our 3 (collective) daughters were at their, respective, other parents. Next year it's our turn.
  22. Are you a happy **** then?
  23. Does Ponty go to SMS also then? Seriously now, a Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy & Peaceful New Year to all.
  24. I just wonder what the people who live at the end of Epsom Close think about all this?
  25. Meh, divorce. From the pair of them, I feel for the ex father in law, sound as a pound he was.
