  1. A man of his Kaliber deserves nothing less.
  2. He said it's in the tea leaves so I fully expect it now.
  3. Gonna spoil another Banksy then?
  4. Hardly self indulgent, more like raising an issue which affected many children in my company at the game. Still giggling at you my little internet warrior! Thanks for your support and I was not aware of their intended destination. The point still needed raising though, as you point out! Again, thank you for your support, I've no idea who you are but, as you know me, I am on Facebook, it'll be nice to chat again. Thanks also for your kind words, I appreciate them. I try my best with nipper!
  5. A very good point and obviously our interest in the England team might well be swayed by the prescence of a few Saints players. My current attitude to the team is very negative, mainly due to the attitude of the prima donnas who represented us back at the WC. Having said that I could never place the needs of the England team over or above the needs of Saints.
  6. Sadly, you are right about the state of our Forces. As to getting involved anyway? They don't have oil fields so what's the point?
  7. Mine arrived at Chickenhall Lane. How do they track them? Surely the barcode I put on it can't be on their database?
  8. Classy. Even classier! The last memory the kids may have from the day is of an adult asking them for the shirt back. I wouldn't think many of those kids are spoilt brats. Although many were disappointed because they obviously felt they were going to get a T shirt! Furthermore, if it had not been for some parents getting their kids down to the concourse they would have missed the parade as nobody came to collect them, as Mark Abrahams informed would happen. My complaint is not against the Saints Foundation as such, it's obvious they do a good job and the training after school, which is what my son is involved in, is actually paid for by us parents with possibly aid from the school/education authority. So, indirectly, the kids aid the foundation. It's just the lack of organisation and, seemingly, a small minded attitude about the T shirts. It might well pay you to read the thread prior to ranting, we have season tickets so we have already paid out. We also choose to spend at the club shop almost every game. Be it a lapel badge, a present for someone else's birthday/Christmas etc. Also, as previously mentioned, the parents help fund the Foundation by paying for the training provided by it.
  9. This. A six pointer at this stage of the season. A win will really signal our intentions and get all the other teams looking over their shoulders. It will be very interesting if all the other results conspire and go our way!
  10. I disn't save any money as I have season tickets. Dolt!
  11. My last post. Academy lads told us, on Thursday, that there were 600 kids doing this. TBF it looked less than that to me? If the T shirt was £2, bulk price, then that might be a fair price. £10 a shirt would have seen Saints ripped off. Let's call it £5? = £3000? Wow! It's the goodwill, lots of bewildered kids around me today.
  12. Watching Saints V Peterborough for free as part of the Saints birthday celebrations? - marvelous. Watching my son, walking around the pitch in his special T shirt as part ... of the Saints birthday celebrations? - heartwarmingly wonderful. Seeing my son's crestfallen face because some no name jerk made the decision to take all the kid's T shirts back? - priceless. I've been through some lows in my time as a Saints fan but I'm an adult and take the rough with the smooth. How do I explain to nipper that the disappointment does go away? This is one that I, even as an adult, cannot and will not understand.
  13. Whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosh ?
  14. Or an 'accident'?
  15. Well this news could not have come at a better time. Just the thing we needed to help us plebs forget all the swingeing cuts that by then will be biting across the country.
  16. Almost entirely agree but I'd like to see Martin in with a chance at CG as I rate him. Sorry, but NA is a football manager not a professor in English! Let's get off his back eh? One game lot is not a season lost. Yes, it's galling to lose but Carlisle are not a crepe team, especially just because we did well against them last season. Still a way to go and hopefully our last 'blip'?
  17. It's the end of the world. For all the wrist slitters. Enjoy and goodnight.
  18. Romseyrant pwned in spectacular fashion as well! No change then.
  19. That may be the case but, in our society, there are some who are incapable of exercising restraint. So why let it get to that stage? Why not keep the away fans in at times such as this? We were kept in at nottarf after the games, while their fans 'improved' Goldsmith Ave. Why couldn't they have been kept in? Letting them out only aggravated the situation.
  20. I also noticed that, there was me thinking he had something to contribute to the debate. What a quaint little Bompey Boy.
  21. Jurors should have an open mind and only consider the evidence before them. At jury selection your leanings may well have given you away, as indeed, you just can't help yourself.
  22. Splutter!!!! Anyway, Mark Dennis is Barney's trainer. Errr, allegedly.
  23. I don't know anything about this case but, from what I read and hear from people there seems to have been more to this than meets the eye. So I have to ask this question, while not condoning any alleged unlawful acts. Were these men the people who the Police were actually after or were they minnows, away from the real action and because the police had no clue they needed to tick boxes for the Police unit to justify the money expended on it?
  24. Only when it suits us Benjii
