I recall some of us being like that!

It's all opinion. Certainly, after each game with the Owls, the rival message board will be one to visit for more informed opinions. I can see them being a good contender for promotion and probably one of about four teams, us included, who could seriously make a fist for the top two places.

I believe that they did try previously? Not absolutely sure though. The current economic climate isprobably the best time for them to strike when people's minds are focused?

If he's a big fella then maye a John somewhere in there? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_McGrath_%28English_footballer%29 Congratulations BTW!

NO! The parachute money should then, totally, be used for a pro-rata payout to all their creditors, so they all get treated equally! I do presume you were tongue in cheek?

TBH HMRC are right in their stance. It's not just the skates, it's the bigger picture with millions at stake in a time when all of us will be looking to save money, as well as pay more to sort the debt. The schadenfreude does kick in and I really couldn't wish better than for the first real big case, after Leeds, to be that sleazy lot down the wrong end of the M27.

Ali Dia?

With that article dated 30th June if the club mentioned was us then fair play to Saints, again, for keeping the deal out of the press.

And then off you go, watching Python for an hour! -
I think you've got DaveBensonRant all wrong mate.

That could get boring rather quickly whereas a steady controlled interest would probably last longer?

A little known urban myth, which I can't help believing: The average female skate has more tattoos and body hair than the average Southampton guy. Allegedly.

Another AA ploy? Nothing would now surprise me.

I have 98 'friends' on FB. Many I know from either Soul Nights or Football. The closest of them are family, or those so close I could, reservedly, regard as family. Despite the care I exercise over my contacts I would not committ to type anything which I would not be prepared to say in public. Over the years I have erred, as we all do, sometimes paid the price and sometimes not. The loss of a job over a comment on FB may seem unfair but, as disastrous as it is to the one under threat, is proof that not all one's 'friends' can rightly, or deservedly, be actually called that. I sincerely hope that the young lady in question learns her lesson and also that it can all be sorted before she loses a career opportunity because of it.

The club somes first? Yeh, feck the creditors!

Just a few links on the Blue Phew. Sorry if already posted. http://www.portsmouth-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/hmrc_to_appeal_cva_537234/index.shtml Funny how the C.V.A. will now pay APPROXIMATELY 20%! http://www.accountancyage.com/accountancyage/news/2266529/hmrc-faces-millions-costs So, to sum up, they dump players, at a cost, so they go below 20 and can get a dispensation to sign more? http://www.goal.com/en/news/9/england/2010/07/15/2027094/hmrc-appeal-against-portsmouth-company-voluntary-agreement They.just.don't.get.it.

We also, at some stage have that spectacle unfolding.

It depends what is driving him. I felt that he was out to get one over on the Gaydamaks but the true story may never be known. He's chucking good money after bad and, if it was me, I'd not be worried about losing face. I'd cut and run with HMRC now firmly on the case. When Pandora's box finally does get opened I think a lot of people will need to be a long way away in countries without extradidition agreements with the UK.

THEN he starts plan B! Oh! no chance of a plan B, he's gonna do a runner.

I'd think that if Mr Chanrai has any sense left at all he will be looking very closely at what the taxman has to say and disregarding what AA says. It would not surprise me to find that Chanrai wants to speak with HMRC or, even, the likes of Griffins! ** That is if AA has no 'hold' over Chanrai.

To be honest the only player I could respectfully call a Jaberwocky, in a humorous link, would have been our own Big Jake? He certainly had most centre forwards looking over their shoulders!

Sorry mate, I don't correct often.
