  1. Calm down now dearie, there's no need to drag me into this! (To be read in a patronising Michael Winner type voice) I can't hide my beer belly, even under a Bhurka!
  2. rofpml! **Note to self: calm down you jittery old fool!
  3. I think a fair comment, because I have been guilty of it, is that humour doesn't always travel well in the ether.
  4. I think they have to appeal. If not it just leaves the barn door wide open for the next bunch of shysters to try it on. How many are they going to let do that? This is really the watershed for HMRC. Do it, do it hard. A club goes to the wall (there but for the grace of God, although we didn't owe the revenue) and football learns a hard lesson. Don't feck with HMRC and get that stupid, obscene Football Creditors rule rescinded.
  5. Except in Dubai, as Phil will no doubt explain.
  6. 1. I was not trying to wind him up. Just replying in kind because he would use the terms Labour Scum/Incapacity Benefit Slobs ad infinitum. 2. If Dune was wound up then he certainly kept his cool as I wasn't looking for nor did I notice any change in his behaviour. 3. I don't know why he was banned. I can only surmise? 4. I take no pleasure in his banning but nor, in all honesty, shall I miss him. He made many good points, not all I agreed with.
  7. Meh, let's bash the teachers anyway ** He said, tongue in cheek.
  8. Were you quoting someone? HMRC have every reason to take these toerags to the limit. They need to prove to football, once and for all, that the football creditors rule is totally unethical.
  9. Why don't hairy arsed sparkies get to meet the dollys?
  10. Germany were certainly far more fun to watch than they have previously been. Come the final I had my hopes on the Dutch because of how they are known for playing and a tad of Dutch in my blood. I quickly tired of their physical style which, to be honest, was bloody crude at times. I think Spain were fair winners of an overall poor world cup. I'll not get started on England as we don't have enough bandwidth, even on this new forum!
  11. I was reliably informed, by SteveGrant, that, after a second chance, anyone who gets banned a second time will not get back on the forum.
  12. If you look back a few comments you'll find that I have never said it is NOT Labour's fault. I do believe that successive administrations have let things get this far though and therefore both sides of the house have been to blame.
  13. You know what my bone of contention is with you. It's the continual bad mouthing of anything Labour by using such terms as Labour Scum and Slobs. Oh! and the racist Nazism displayed so proudly by you in your previous incarnation. But you've changed or you're not Stanley. So you tell us. Even the National Front have become the BNP with a slightly more user friendly facade. That doesn't wash either.
  14. Sorry June, I just see a blah blah blah Labour Slobs, Labour Scum thing every time your name appears. Better than your previous spell on here though Stan?
  15. Don't, just don't try telling him. The Lune is not for putting right.
  16. Forget that one. How many times did Poopy PAY Nugent on time?

  18. I wonder if the Americans are that worried anyway.
  19. The irony of you asking me to get real is unbelieveable.
  20. I don't think that anyone is defending the poor state of the benefits system. It's ripe for overhauling but to make throwaway comments such as 'it is all Labour's fault' are not conducive to the debate it just entrenches people, unless they can see past the trolling?
  21. To you and I? Nothing. However he is using the rules applicable at the time, wrong though they be. These rules have been drawn up, improved ( ??? ) and amended by many different administrations over the years. It's not just a total 'Labour at fault' issue. Again, wrong though I think the rules are.
  22. If that Mexican Stand Off occurs I really believe that HMRC may well not be phased and will reply "Do it". One club down, big lesson for football and ALL it's conniving cheats, job done. It's the bigger picture that HMRC have their eye on and if the Skates, in this instance, die then football will, truly, police itself.
  23. That's old news from the 9th. Hatch posted this earlier: http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/trans...-nadir-belhadj
  24. If Carlsberg did trolling they's probably do it like this. Nice & tasteful! Nicely done Aint!
