From my view it does seem that every authority, bar HMRC, they have encountered have rolled over dead for them. Maybe they'll give him a slap with a soft cushion and tell him to look at it again?

I thought all Fords came with a roll of duct tape in the glove box.

Anyone on here remember Foleys coach?

Presumably that would have been Red Robbo? (posts on here sometimes) -

They also think highly of our home support! [stBudoGreen] The last time I went (on a cold Tuesday night) we took thousands, about the same number of home fans turned up , and the ground looked empty..... Going for sure ! -

Opt for the instalment plan. -
They go right up to 5XL. Which even for a BFB like me, was too big. 4XL gives me lots of room. For those who have washed the shirt, was there any shrinkage?

He'll be too busy finalising his latest aquisition, with his new financial director, Andronikou. -
I think that Barclays also have a charge on many of Gaydamaks plots.

I can't see AP doing that. He's been around and he knows all about how the local derby mentality works and the effect it has on the fans. He can field a half strength team, if he wants to and we go through, in the next round. Unless, of course, the FCSBs also get through and we draw them! -
First signing of the summer - NOW on OS !!

I think that Harding need not be worried. The club are building a squad and there needs to be a healthy competition for places. If we see our right side unable to get to the bye-line then Harding's left foot could introduce that dimension as well as cover for injury/suspension. I felt he had a good season last year and I'm sure that we will see more positions being doubled up to give cover and variation to the squad. -
Pirelli's Social Club - Eastleigh

When I served my time there, 72 -76, we used to go up the club at lunchtime for a quick couple of pints and then out onto the grass at the back and 35 odd minutes of football. There were a few good football players working in Cable accessories and Drum Shop then. Johnny Keenan, Mick and Graham Goater. Also Jim Murray from maintenance. -

My neighbour's sons played for Pirelli, Ray & Norman Phillips. Both have now passed away I believe. -

They used to have a wonderful dance floor and the place, in it's heyday, was the centre for all the sporting associations within the Eastleigh plant. Billiards, snooker, darts, table tennis whilst in the grounds there was a heated swimming pool and a top class bowling green. The football club/ground was relocated to Chestnut Avenue in 1965 when the Oil Filled Cable department was opened and a new car park built for the extra employees. I had a chat with an old ex Pirelli mate about a year ago who informed me that the dance floor was ruined with wisteria growing up through it from the cellar below! Solent reported, 16.00, that two young boys, 12 & 15 have been cautioned and may be charged with arson after the fire yesterday. -

Hurry up then as it's almost out! -
For those who used it in their drunken youth. Now no more, burning very well with the brigade in attendance.

Would you play Robert Green in the next game

So who is picking the team then? -
They have a CWAB. Oh, sorry! You said selling points!

Pointed and true. Churchill could not let that happen, he was on the money with the then German Government.

I have always been a Catholic but from very early days I followed the Teddy Bears because I opted for the underdogs. (Chelsea in the 67 F.A. Cup final etc.). My school chums, as I got older, could not understand. I heard the sash a few times on my trips to Ibrox and felt that I didn't like the references to being 'up to our knees in fenian blood' as it was tasteless. There is a good programme about the football bigotry, spread over 3 or so parts, on Youtube.

Hmmm, this was my first thought. So, come a home game nipper and I will not be eating or drinking anything which can stain the shirts. We will be drinking bottled water and eating dry bread. Maybe not.

Lol, I forgot the TY in with their one time sponsors! Catchy maybe but play on words award of the season has surely got to be Pay Up Pumpee ?
