  1. I was anticipating about the £350 mark for my son and I. Although a bit surprised at first ( £433 as first time buyers) but I do see it exactly how you do and I really don't mind in the slightest. Do we want prime rump steak or burgers? A no brainer answer I reckon.
  2. There's a Buzzin Hornet (as previously mentioned) but he hasn't posted.
  3. The initial, obvious answer could be that the authorities will let it continue until they have removed all their (the authorities) skeletons? From outside it's looking a bigger mess than ever and it's growing every day.
  4. It was Roger Beeks. What about Stanley.. .. oh! People that used to post on here! Great to see Buzzin 'Orn mentioned as I was only trying to remember his name yesterday.
  5. As a Roman Candle I do find that funny :smt038
  6. Saints Beer Curry Motown Northern Soul Cornwall
  7. This X 2 in BFB for me and medium Boys for my son.
  8. Awwww shucks Stanley. I feel nothing but pity for you.
  9. It's what you don't see that I worry about with Tories.
  10. Band Hero - X Box 360 is best.
  11. So why wasn't he a Tory then?
  12. Don't call Stanley a knee! You're bang out of order.....oh! :smt105 You mean...err...I got the wrong word? 8-)
  13. Redaction, is that the word?, a la MPs expenses being publicied?
  14. Southend, Bournemouth.... all bigger than the DFSBs!
  15. Are they not watching him carefully now though? Like the way their debt suddenly became £120m after going into administration? That, to me, was a blatant inflation of the debt to preclude the HMRC having a say (25%) in the CVA? It doesn't look like they have much of a say at the moment but, then again, they may just be giving AA enough rope?
  16. Would I be right in thinking out in the estates and surrounding areas? The last pub I went in in town was very much one of those plastic affairs. Eastleigh had some classic 'old style' pubs, The Cricks, Eastleigh Hotel, Chamberlayne but they have either disappeared (Eastleigh Hotel) or succumbed to the sanitised style like the Litten Tree, Wagon Works (although a Wetherspoons). Sad times indeed.
  17. The traditional English pub has long gone in most parts of the land unless you get out into rural areas where it still figures as the focal point of the community. A damn shame as it's not just a loss to the community but the jobs that go along with it.
  18. Let's hope that HMRC are acquainted with the phrase 'Give them enough rope......' and putting it to good use.
  19. That last bit does ring true. For just a moment, remove the rivalry. Some fans do realise exactly what is wrong down there because they have spoken to the likes of FMPR and Mero, guys who have read this thread and seen through the rivalry driven banter. It's the arrogance that prevents them from admitting the situation whereas the likes of Mero etc are more circumspect and realistic! Ok, enough of putting the rivalry to one side. Cheating DFSBs!
  20. Big kick in the wotsits for the likes of Chelsea I'd reckon. So what about certain nefarious characters like those who 'bought' pcfc? They will find a way to flout any laws I'd imagine.
  21. There, I feel better now! More seriously I agree and wonder if this avenue might get explored by creditors in weighing up their decision on the CVA as it would remove all hope of the DFSBs paying anything more than nuppence per pound into the CVA. Thus liquidating them?
  22. E.G. about the minimum wage, or less if they can get away with it?
  23. I do wonder what the Speverend Rooner would have made of that.
  24. How about an electrician called Alan Conduit, which also means his initials are AC!
