It's a swiss / german thing..... Most boards will get an offer accepted for a player / coach / etc and leak it to the press, before 50% fall over. My guess is that 9 out of 10 transactions will not get out until they are complete. The other 1 out of 10 will be leaked by the other side. It's called professionalism. It's a big change but better get used to it

Bearing in mind the actual 10 point deduction is justified (ie - it was a footballing debt, regardless of the technicalities), just think how much the other clubs are going to squeal and hate us for getting away with it. I personally would rather take the deduction anyway. Scary thought these days but it's pretty much the decent and right thing to do. (.....and then wipe the floor with them all ont he pitch!)
