  1. Right, it's 11.30am, the soaks will be well on their way down my local. I'm off down there on my day off to gonna butter them up with a whiskey and water each, a few quids worth of credit for the juke box (maximum 5 songs, can only put up with the Pogues for so long) and a game of pool. I wonder if they've ever tried aftershock or jeager bombs? Few of those for lunch will get them on side for my travel scam. In a way Im actually quite gutted Ill miss the faces of the travel club types on bard whichever coach is unfortunate enough to accomodate the barely illiterate soaks I'm sending as my "ticket mules" whist I wreck havok on the streets of P*mpey, for a start they stink, know f*** all bout football, well 1 fella on the run from a Maybush loan shark still thinks Tommy Widderington and Neil Maddison play for us as he refuses to believe the last 16 years of his life slipping away from him actually happened - whoever is on the coach with a bearded 1 eared (got the other bit off by a dog in a "van fight" during the summer of world cup 2002) loon wearing a 90's skiing jacket and crusty jeans singing "score a goal, Neil Shipperley" sat next to "Mad Annie" in her leather trousers, waistcoat and bald patches - are lucky enough to be in their company! Up the Saints - here, there, everyf***ingwhere!
  2. This really isn't a problem, I have 4 absolute degenerate drunks from my local (the sort there from 11am - 11pm, on the rock n role drinking mild that will go to the shop to collect fags for you in the p***ing rain if they can have one) doing the "coach run" for the cost of a midweek bar tab. Meanwhile I can do what I and 3 (at least, these wasters will know some fellow drop out losers from the job centre probably) other like minded gents can do what we want and get to P*mpey how we want without being followed by Hants OB, meet up by the ground (I'll come up with a simple scam, probably along the lines of accusing them of being peados and insisting I pick them out individually through the Police lines) get our tickets and stroll in smashed with pockets full to the brim with hip flasks, flares and ed smoke bombs. P*mpey away. No women. No kids.
  3. Yes mate, tickets are for myself and our friend from Botley. Didn't know we already had the full 4,200 allocation, seems we were lucky with the final 2! Should be a good day out....
  4. Tickets officially sold out, my mates just bought the last 2. Any chance of any more?
  5. Interesting, as he told me 3 weeks ago in town (he was out with Bridgy on a Sunday afternoon) that he was going to train with us the following week. Obviously veteod at the last minute? Have to say he was an absolute gent and bought a round for my group after chatting with me, seems incredibly passionate about "us" (Saints) - but then again who wouldn't?
  6. Personally think that's bad form from Orange, Vodafone keep me updated whenever I'm abroad with work (not that it overly bothers me as it's a work phone) on data roaming costs (£ per MB and usage updates after every £5), I would have thought this would be standard industry practice?
  7. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-15162241 What implications will this have for Prem football? My local in Botley already uses Sky Italia at a fraction of proper Skys subscription (only annoying thing is no English commentry/ analysis) so ligalising this will mean bigger chains following suit and ultimately devaluing the Sky deal meaning serious revenue implications for Prem Clubs that have "mortgaged" their futures based on Sky revenue beyond the current deal.
  8. Genuinely shocked not to see a death threat to the OP from CFSFC on this thread.....
  9. Maybe missed it in the article but does it say what programme it is (ie Panorama) and/ or when it will be aired?
  10. You watched MOTD you clown? Wallcott had a blinder causing non stop problems (as he has done consistently to both Milan sides, Barca, Man U and and other global club/ country). What world football club currently in the champions league would not sign Theo if he was available? I'd guess at none - man u, Citeh, Barca et al would LOVE him! Oh sorry though, due to chamberlains goal against Shrewsbury a displays ineague 1 (2 years older than Theo was destroying the championship) means he's better than our country's brightest, scariest young player alongside whilshire eh? Clown
  11. Have you seriously just based that reply implying TW "thinks he can do better" on the hearsay of the OP? You sum up the knee-jerk hysteria on the Internet that makes me sick. Have you ever met Theo or his family? Been involved in multi million £ sports contracts? Scored a hat trick for England in our biggest qualifying game since Germany 01? Oh, as an aside I'm personally proud of Wallcotts ahievements since leaving us, a genuinely talented player that scares the hell out of any defence in world football (ask pep guardiola) playing for the only manager and club that are trying to compete at footballs top table without cheating like Citeh/ Chelsea (sugardaddys) or Man U/ Scousers (debt). A victory fir Wengers philosophy is a victory fir football.
  12. No problem for me and my mates, paying a group of losers from our local a tenner each to go by bingo bus, collect tickets and hand em over by the ground to us after we've arrived under the radar (probably by boat, my stockbroker mate is up for chartering a motoryacht from ancaster in hamble) or stay there the night before. All it needs is a bit of ingenuity.
  13. Please tell me your joking mate????
  14. I did but the automated message said ticket line was shut on Sunday - hence me resorting to an Internet message board for help....
  15. Up until today my 10 yr old nephew and I have taken advantage of the excellent offer the club do in the Chapel end of u11's going free with an adult. Just gone on to the saints ticket buying site (which is shockingly bad anyway) and the option of buying U11's tickets is no longer there for any matches and the cheapest concession is £12 for U17's. Have they taken this option away or is it an online cock up?
  16. Sholing won 9-1 at home against newbury and are through to the fa cup 1st qual round. Been to see the boatmen a few times now, decent day out, community feel and unashamedly pro saints there. All those moaning there's no football ain't real football in my opinion.
  17. Can we please stop calling them "Bompey". I've actually got a lot of time for Bournemouth, good night out and decent beaches. Too even begin to compare my feelings towards AFCB with my genuine hated of all things (football and non football) P*rtsmouth is unimaginable. "Bompey" is childish, pathetic and non reflective of true feelings from our support imo.
  18. Lambert signed on £10k per week when he joined from Bristol Rovers. Source is another player wanted by Saints and offered parity with top earner at SFC (RL). £25k is bulls*** and there's no way NC would allude to that anyway.
  19. Was it definately the Doorman? I hate Doorman. Hope he pulls through, top player and good lad!
  20. Mikes in West End is quality, turned into Blue Fish or some other s*** recently and were properly stingey. Luckily was bought out by Mike who is the original owner's (Frank) son and back on form last time I went there a month or so ago. Codfather is run by J Henrys (Hedge End Village), average at best and is basically a manopoly as there is no where else to go in HE unless you drive to Thornhill and go to Speedys (not sure it's called that now but was when I lived in Harefield as a nipper) or Mikes in West End. Only good thing about J Henrys was hanging around outside as a 14/15 year old chatting up any bit of skirt that moved and taking them into HE Rec'.... The things girls would do for a bag of chips on a freezing cold Friday night! Anyway, be grateful, when I moved to London I realised how blessed we are in SO as all their old chippys have been bought out by chinese or Turks and turned into generic takeaway s***.

I hate MK Dons, disgusting club. Glad to hear we are taking their best player, fingers crossed they won't replace him and fail to get promoted. Scum.
  22. We're SFC, we could take 1,000+ to Everest away on a wet Tuesday night in Lg1 - Fact.
  23. F*** I forgot all about the IOW - Make it 70k, actually 80k for 2 reasons. IOW get loads to their festival which doubles their population and we should/ could be bigger than Manu U or AC Milan (not Barca yet but infastructure is there to make it possible).
  24. With our Travelling Army of fans (to London games) and clamour for tickets at all home matches I'd hope to see the builders in asap to get the ground up to 60k in time for the promotion party at home to Donny on March 24th!
  25. I've no reason to disbelieve him? That and I'm pretty certain he's smashed at least one of the girls in the ticket office. Hoping the nice weather will give us a decent walk up - maybe 24k ish (which is pretty shocking really given where we are right now). Hope I'm wrong though.
