Not a knee jerk reaction. the team was poor, no pride. NA - Why does he persist in playing Jay Rod as a winger? Why keep Julie sorry Gully on the pitch? Should have changed it 5 mins after the mighty Wigan scored. Too slooooooooooow. Sharp should have been on for Gully not Jay Rod. Fox is clearly out of his depth. We need signings and we need them now. Got four guys in early and then decided to take the rest of the summer off. Also the club is has really ****ed me off with my season ticket but that's another story. I only hope the Don has realised we need to buy players NOW after this pathetic defeat. I was really looking forward to day but I feel let down. From where I was in block 2 it looked like a clear foul for their second goal.

I meant playing on his own, without support ie from the 2nd Striker as 433 / 451 when he is often lift isolated. Has he scored any goals with his head at the back post in the pre-season? Also a lot of the time he likes to come deep for the ball leaving the other forward to take the markers etc.

I think most of us expect it to be a tough season but we might us well be as fully prepared as we can be and make the most of the players we have and play them in their normal positions?

Sounds like it to me, as he says what is the point of playing JRod on the wing? Or wasting RL talents on his own though the middle?
