I would have gone but I was put off by the time between games not the cost. 45 mins was far too long. OK its normally a 15 half-time so even 20 mins for W Bremen to have a rest would have been fine but with the 45 mins plus other match of 45 mins it was far too long. It would appear that all three teams played 2 sets of players for the tournament - so no rest needed really anyway. Could have had our first "game" at 4 as planned and the last game at about 6 rather 7. Thanks ML - forever in your debt.

Excellent first signing of the Summer. If we try and keep OXO and sign one or two more I think we'll do alright.

Have we all gone American - "yay"? I say "yeah" to the Skids with the Saints are coming. Listen to it on my IPod on the way to game to get in the mood too.

More recent then that we played Cardiff on New Years Eve might have the season we got relegated or the one before that. Kicked off at 12 noon.

You're joking! KD is a liability. He's been a great servant in the past but I hope this is his last seaon with us. He's let in so many goals at the near post and the defence have to cover for him all the time. No way can you compare KD with Shilts!

Kind of agree with most of your points however I thought the side stand was sold out and only the area behind the goal was on sale yesterday? So it couldn't have been a last min idea to go the game yesterday? (I was there yesterday)

Good morning, Unfortunately I will be in the US for Pompey match. Are there any Saints fans in the DC / Northern Virginia / Maryland Area who will be watching the match? I used to live in DC so I know the area pretty well. Was thinking of "Summers" in Arlington VA or maybe the British Embassy if they still show the footie? Any ideas? Cheers Billy

******* BRILL! Got back from 6 months in Bahrain yesterday but have a bloody holiday booked in the US so will be away for the next round, didn't expect Saints to be still in the Cup! Want to fly home but Mrs F won't be too pleased!

For what its worth the lad use to go the same school in Southsea as my kids - St Johns College. My two girls are still there. It may be in the heart of the Portsmouth but both the heads of the upper and lower schools are Saints fans. Every time we go in we go in we always chat about footie. There is always Saints mention going on. Cheers

Surprised no one has suggested that we try and sign Sol Campbell. Left the Skates and available on a free. Would be a great CB for us at this level. Surely we can compete with Notts Co?
