The biggest positive for me is that despite our well documented weaknesses, we still gave an excellent account of ourselves. As the squad is only gonna get stronger I am a happy man this afternoon

I would have taken 1-1 at the start of the day against a team who are gonna be fighting for the CCC. Plenty of positives, i thought Morgan was a class above anyone else and is my MoM, but Harding was also brilliant. We all knew the weaknesess of the team so nothing new there, but our defending of set pieces is still woeful and I expected millwall to score from every corner/free kick today. A couple of signings in by sat and huddersfield wont know whats hit them! happy

Thats how I read it too. I really hope he signs, like others have said he is exactly what we need. If Murty, a strong CB and an experienced midfielder sign next week, and Rasiak and/or Saga decide to stay, i will be a happy chappy

There really is no need to be derogatory about the women's game - if you dont like it then thats fine, i admit to finding it boring. However there are plenty of young girls who love football who would love to play for SFC, and plenty of women who enjoy it. Just because something is a minority doesnt make it less valid - for example if pompey fans outnumbered saints fans 3 to 1 in hampshire it wouldnt mean that SFC is not worth existing. Sorry about the slightly contrived analogy but i wanted to put my point across in a way you'd understand! Basically my point is that you cant say people who like womens football are "very very sad" just because you dont like it yourself. Each to their own and all that

The only way the sport is gonna improve in quality is if its given some financial backing - just look at what its done for the womens cricket team. So yes I would like to see the Saints get more backing, but its very unlikely as its just not popular enough to generate a profit

i dont believe people are slagging off international football so much! For me, nothing beats a world/european cup summer. I love that the whole country comes together, flags out of windows, in cars, the hype and the whole country feeling the same emotional rollercoaster. Simply for the reason that it would delight 40 million people i would have to put a World Cup win over saints winning the PL. Then again I find international breaks very irritating when England are playing someone who they should beat easily (Andorra) and i miss out on a week of supporting my beloved club. i do find it kinda offensive though that ppl are suggesting this makes me not a real football fan, I love my country and my club equally and am proud to be a part of both of them

i say we just win as many games we can until xmas and then see where we are. Im sure this is what AP has been saying to the players. If we're 10th-12th at the end of January then yes we can start thinking about Play offs but there's every chance we could still be down around 18th. lets just enjoy the ride and get behind the team whatever position they are in!
