I agree that it is a bit odd. I thought that people used pseudonyms to remain anonymous - which is a bit pointless if somebody is going to refer to them by their real name. Might as well register under your real name like wot I did. I know OoohTerryHurlock, but I never refer to him as Mikey on here.

It looks like a throw away comment to me that you have taken to heart. The fact that you have received no reply to a PM on the subject probably just indicates that either he didn't give a toss about the subject anyway, or feels a bit embarrassed, or is about 15 years old, or he just hasn't seen the PM (the latter being unlikely). I don't think it is necessary to start a thread every time somebody has a dig at you do no apparent reason. Just ignore it and move on - life is too short....but before I go I would like to complain about smirking_saint saying that all my posts are self-important sarcasm. They are clearly only ever one or the other, never both at the same time

Lets hope we start getting some results soon, or these promising numbers may start to dwindle.

Kayne ruptured his Achilles in February. Curtis Davies ruptured his in March. I ruptured mine on 30th June. I have just been discharged after 8 weeks and have started physio, but I only have to worry about returning to normality (walking, golf, 5-a-side maybe). These guys have to return to professional sport which is a different kettle of fish. Curtis Davies was expected to be out until October but managed an hour of football at the end of July and as far as I know is back to normal already (5 months approximately). Kayne obviously hasn't progressed that quickly, but I think the OS has him targetting September for a comeback. ATRs are a terrible injury to get over - especially for professional athletes. Physical repair aside, they have the mental aspect of being 100% confident that it will not rerupture during training or a game. I look forward to seeing him again soon.

Thanks for contributing anyway

Yes I realise that thanks. I was responding to the "We are in League 1" comment which, where SC is concerned, is of little consequence. It is the amount of cash he can earn from his last (probable) contract that interests him ;-)

Notts County are not a Championship side. They play in League 2, and he is probably going to join them imminently.
-
And where do you think Notts County are?

It's you

Oh! The mind boggles. Good luck with your quest :-)

Male or female?

I thought we covered it here: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=15864

Made me chuckle

 What is wrong with the Neal Trotman thread then?
-
Careful - you used "there" instead of "their" earlier today :-)

Don't you think "is he going to be sufficiently committed, and interested in us, to attend every game" implies that you feel that lack of attendance at every game = lack of commitment to us? That is what people are biting at IMHO.
-
I think the "sufficiently committed..." bit is the cause of the ire TBH

Dean Richards was not "since" Killer.

LOL - always a giveaway when the shorts meet the top of the socks

It is not compulsory to click the "Submit reply" button just because you have started typing you know ...and I still think Birtles was crap.

I don't think he is going to turn up at every game, and not doing so is fine by me. I don't see his perpetual presence as a sign of commitment - the large wedge of cash he has stumped up to buy the club is commitment enough methinks.

Good - I am happy to be wrong. Sounds like a decent player.

The silence is deafening from all parties except Sky. If Mawene is injured I can't see it hapnin' myself.
