  1. Great lineup, looking forward to the game (though I won’t get to see it due to work). COYR!
  2. I don’t know who would be the worst to have as a referee when playing at OT, Mike Dean, Lee Mason or, a call from the past, Howard Webb.
  3. Ralph’s not the problem.
  4. Attack is the best defense! One of Johan Cruijffs quotes
  5. They can have Lemina for free and hand us Lookman in return, if RB Leipzig agree 😉

    Coronavirus

Johnson and his government have made a mess of the way we try to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic. But then, imagine if Labour won the elections and we had Corbyn, Abbott and Thornbury leading us in these times. May might have done a better job, Cameron too as he is a good ‘talker’ and could be more clear. As we stand I cannot think of current politician who could lead us through this pandemic and the coming economic crisis.
  7. Johnnyfartpants and Roger Beeks.
  8. Didn’t know Adkins was still down here in Hampshire. Just had a quick look on his Twitter account, great positive videos the bloke does. would like to see him back at the club, maybe as a youth coach.
  9. That wasn’t Joey Veerman with those stats, that was Henk Veerman (29 year old striker from Heerenveen). IMO Joey Veerman (22 years old, only played 23 games in the Eredivisie so far) isn’t the kind of player we should look at. He hasn’t impressed at Heerenveen and if he was any decent, Ajax or PSV would be all over him.
  10. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Couldn’t believe what I was watching last night. Just under 2 weeks and the clown is gone from the White House.
  11. I doubt Nagelsmann would leave Leipzig. He’s doing a great job there and Red Bull have money to keep him satisfied. I think Nagelsmann will likely leave to Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Liverpool etc.
  12. Remember Quincy Promes? He has just been arrested for GBH and attacking someone with a knife at a party in Abcoude (just south of Amsterdam).
  13. My first thoughts too. First favorites are Marco Rose , Adolf Hutter (his real name) and the bloke from RB Salzburg.
  14. 16, had to guess a few tbh.
  15. German newspaper BILD (comparable with the Sun) are reporting Lucien Favre, the Borussia Dortmund coach is about to be sacked. They name Julian Nagelsman, Marco Rose and the RB Salzburg trainers as possible replacements. Just hope they ‘forget’ about RH.
  16. Will the club post a compilation of his highlights on social media when he leaves?
  17. http://www.hesgoal.com/news/69174/Southampton_vs_West_Bromwich.html
  18. Are we ever going to get rid of him? Or Carillo, Boufal and a goalkeeper?
  19. http://www.hesgoal.com/news/68078/Southampton_vs_Tottenham.html Always works for me. Press on the game, first time round you get adverts, close that link, press on the game again and you get the match.
  20. French football website Foot Mercato reporting that we are willing to let Boufal go for 4 million.
  21. Slattery moved to De Graafschap due to the connections of our scout Piet Buter with Mike Snoei. Snoei and Buter worked together at Telstar, thats when they loaned Seagar from us. After a successful year at Telstar, Snoei moved to De Graafschap and Buter also left Telstar ( he was their technical director).
  22. Dutch football website VI reporting that Saints, along with a dozen Italian, German and Turkish clubs are interested in signing Dutch RB/wing back Rick Karsdorp from AS Roma. Karsdorp (25) spent last season on loan at Feyenoord. However due to the Corona virus and injuries he played just 20 games. Imo Karsdorp won’t be a good signing. Yes he works hard and has the talent, however he is injury prone and with the PL being tougher then the Serie A, it might just be to fast and physical.
  23. AZ could afford Hoedt, however I believe that 8 million euro would make him AZ’s most expensive buy. (their current most expensive buy is Graziano Pelle in 2008 for 6 million).
  24. Met George Burley once when he was sober, fact.
  25. Ajax could match his wages or even offer him more. Daley Blind is on 5 million a year and Ziyech wouldn’t have been far of that. Problem for Ajax is that except the games against Feyenoord, PSV and AZ, the competition is poor and not very challenging.
