Over here in the Netherlands there is a problem with football fans and their behavior within the stadium. At Groningen a player was punched in recent weeks and Ajax player Davy Klaassen was hit by a battery thrown from the stands. Recently Feyenoord wanted to appoint a new board member, problem was the fans didn’t like him and want him. So one day loads of fans turned up at house wearing balaclavas. The guy decided it was best not to join the Feyenoord board.

I’m not that impressed with the thought of Gerrard, Parker or Viera coming. Parker was sacked both at Bournemouth and Fulham once promoted, Emery is showing how much potential the Villa side have and Viera didn’t do anything special at Palace or Nice. Although we are now a division lower, other clubs were able to attract ‘bigger’ names, Bielsa, Benitez and Silva to name a few. We have money to spend, a state of the art training ground and Southampton is easily accessible from anywhere in Europe. Possible managers I would like to see, 1. Peter Bosz, coached Dortmund, Lyon and Ajax. Has been out of work since sacked by Lyon. Likes playing attacking football and fast paced. His downside is he doesn’t have a plan B. Would like to see him with his former assistant Alfred Schreuder and possibly someone who knows English football and our club. 2. Oliver Glasner, leaving Frankfurt at the end of this season. Might be a long stretch but with some convincing and prospect of money he might come. Likes playing 3 at the back with the wing backs moving in to midfield, like City. 3. Adi Hutter, out of work since leaving Gladbach in 2022. Comes from the Red Bull trainers school and likes playing attacking football with 3 at the back.

He was in January whilst he could have just let one of the senior scouts take care of the transfers. The guy is full of shit and nothing more than a fraud.

He was obviously scouted by Rasmus with his data and Xg crap. AZ Alkmaar’s trainer Pascal Jansen said in a recent interview: Data shouldn’t main reason for player scouting etc. Data should be assisting and nothing more (couldn’t think of a better way to translate that). If you had the choice between Nathan Jones and all the scientists, data and Xg available or someone like Howe/Ten Hag/Tuchel etc without data and just pure their own football knowledge. Who would you chose?

Sports Republic have been terrible so far. Yes they’ve spent (squandered) lots of money, but look what we bought! Then they tried to change the setup of the club within 1 year, just like Chelsea’s new owners and look how that’s going. I have little faith in these cowboys and don’t think we’ll be promoted next season, or anytime soon with these idiots in charge.

It seems like Sports Republic won’t be leaving anytime soon. All we can hope for is that Rasmus gets bored and cons Dragan in buying him a new toy to wreck. Hopefully that day comes sooner then later.

4. Giving Rasmus the conman to much power. Bloke has made mistake after mistake and must be taking piss now with his day to day running (ruining probably the better word) of our club.

Could well be the plan, but then the next question comes. Do you think Rasmus is capable of identifying and recruiting the right people? So far he has done a terrible job recruiting managers and players. Blokes nothing more then a smooth talking bullshitter.

Fingers crossed it’s not someone picked by Rasmus. And if the board aren’t accepting relegation, they should have done a better job recruiting players and managers. If we go down they have themselves to blame and I hope we will see some drastic changes.

I am going to suggest a name that has been mentioned often on here for us next season in the Championship. I think Peter Bosz CDAJFU next season. He was linked to FC Twente recently but has been out of work since being sacked by Lyon. Bosz likes to play fast attacking football, something that would be suicidal in the Premier League for us, but in the Championship next season when we should have one of the biggest budgets and should be fighting for the top spot I think it would work. The problem with Bosz is that he does what he wants and won’t listen to the likes Ankerson or Semmens. Together with someone like Alfred Schreuder, who has a reputation to rebuild after a torrid time at Ajax, I think we could win promotion and be a joy to watch. It would cost a bit and take some persuading, but I recon with good recruitment and a big budget they would to the punt in joining us.

Someone who believes he’s some kind of genius and will outsmart all the other clubs. I seriously wonder what the staff at the club think of him and his actions. When you look back at the fans forum and see the body language from Semmens, it says it all. As long as this fraud remains here I have zero believe in that we can bounce back immediately to the PL. I can see us becoming another Sunderland and drop down again due to ridicules actions and ideas from him and his followers.

New manager scouting report from the Netherlands by me. The eredivisie this season is made up by 18 clubs. Having checked the current table all clubs, on the exception of Sparta Rotterdam, are about where they should be based on current squad and budget. So we will look at the current top 6 and who their current manager is. 6 Sparta Rotterdam. Punching well above their weight and being managed by Maurice Steijn. Steijn has always managed in Holland on the exception of a short stay in the Middle East. Bar his time at NAC he has done well at all clubs. Not a big name and has never managed a big club. Not someone we should want to hire imo. 5 Fc Twente. Doing reasonably well this season and have Ron Jans in charge. Jans has always done well in Holland but didn’t have a great time in The US and Belgium. Will leave Twente at the end of the season. Looking at his age and how he did abroad I would say a no from me as our next manager. 4 AZ Alkmaar. Pascal Janssen manages AZ and has just renewed his contract. Does well at AZ and mixes good games with very poor games. AZ is his first club as head coach. Prior to AZ he worked as an assistant or head of youth and several clubs. Imo to little experience to take charge of us. 3 PSV Eindhoven. Ruud van Nistelrooij manages PSV, his first major managerial job. Not spectacular but still learning his trade. Too early to manage us and will probably want to gain more experience at PSV. 2 Ajax. Having poor season by Ajax standards and sacked Alfred Schreuder mid season. Johnny Heitinga now manages Ajax temporarily until the end of the season. Performing better the schreuder but not having Ajax firing on all cilinders. 1 Feyenoord. Managed by the best manager of the Eredivisie Arne Slot. Feyenoord play fast attacking football and often win the game in the second half of the match. On course to win the league this season and got to the final of the conference league last year. If we could, get him asap. Though it’s highly unlikely he will leave Feyenoord, who will play Champions league next season, and move down to the Championship. Tottenham are interested apparently and will like get offers from all over Europe. My verdict. No new interesting managers, or who would come to us in the eredivisie currently as it stands now.

I can just see happening that shortly before the season starts Rasmus makes a statement quoting: We spent months identifying new managers however they were unable to join for the new season. So I have decided that I’ll be manager for the time being. At the end of the day I bought the players in January and wrote a book about winning and give Ted talks. Don’t worry I know what I’m doing and we will likely be promoted at the start of February after another 13-0 win. Sorry to bang on about Rasmus. Jones and his assistants were terrible appointments and clearly didn’t have a clue. But they are correct that our recruitment of players lately has been poor to say the least.

Try and ship out Lyanco, Bednarek, Diallo, Elyounoussie, Orsic (it seems like it’s sadly just not going to work out with him), Adam Armstrong, Djenepo, Bree and Mara. Then try and get a left back, striker but first and foremost a new manager. And don’t let Rasmus anywhere near the recruitment and scouting of players.
