I would imagine that as the owner of the ground BC would have been charging a commercial rent on it...it's not like the phew were buying from him as a mortgagee. I also have little doubt that they will have defaulted on those payments giving him a right to reposess assuming it's a standard commercial contract. As the landlord of a reposessed property that they need he, surely, has them by the brazils as to whether they can even carry on...without finding another venue..Moneyfields? This won't, of course, comply with FL regs re H & S, separation of fans and a host of others I'm sure. You see, I only have eyes for one team to support - I don't even care about England or other international teams unless there's a Saints connection but I do have time and intellectual capacity enough to take the p*ss out of 'them' and their demise. It became more pointed, more full of invective when 1) They did what they did during Ted's silence and 2) they behaved as they did when we had our troubles. That's not obsession to me, that's fun and it's payback...

Understand what you're saying but actually the song doesn't even mention them...we know, they know...most fans sing along with it so there's a good swell of supportive sound. I don't actually give a sh*t if the other fans don't get it...it's not for them and you can't hear them thinking anyway

I'm sure this must have been asked before so my apologies.. I've just bought the above for home (always had Microsoft stuff before) and find I can't get Saints Player commentary etc....is there an app or programme I can add to enable the Adobe bit. Many thanks in advance!

I listened to the interview that was taken from on R5 this morning and that quote sounded like he was in salesman mode. When the presenter asked if there were more attractive clubs for sale in the Football League he answered that most of them were...I think he's under few illusions but said that the nature of a football club usually meant that there would be potential buyers but the unsaid bit was which league that they would be in when that happened. He also acknowledged the precedents set by Leeds etc as to further deductions. It sounded a bit like he was flannelling a bit as he won't have had a chance to sit down and 'forensically' look through the current set of book figures available being as he was only appointed on Friday. I still think that there are so many negatives attached to P*mpey that you'd have to be completely bl*ody mad to even consider it as a business proposition but if I was a billionaire Saints fan I'd probably not even consider the cost were we in the same position. Not seen too many potted skates lining up to help them thus far though...how unfortunate!

Agree completely - I won't forget how he held back on the West Ham move (they were PL then, of course) until he heard we'd been saved and signed straight away. Great club captain and role model.

Pretty sure the skates will be picking up his hotel etc....that will soon rack up a few of the thousands that are owed to the small businesses and charities - it's still not what an administrator should be prioritising if he has their best interests at the core of what his function is supposed to be.

Great noise right from the start...still buzzing after a 4 hour drive home. All supportive noise is good...the WTF song is easy, infectious and perfect retribution for how it was sung at us by the multi-bankrupts from the pit!
