That's the best thing, not to talk about it!

Makes excellent sense...it also provides that option to play to the runner (this came in to the repertoire more in the second half on Saturday)...it must be a nightmare for defenders to be playing us with the skill and options we have on the pitch let alone the quality changes we are able to make. Billy Sharp's turn will come...I'm intrigued about the weight loss stat - if accurate it proves that we demand nothing less than the fittest players in the league.

Yeah, 3 mates would be stretching credibility

So many to choose from but yes - this. His point was proved and he's not looked back. -
Talking of Lambert...they must be kicking themselves now...

We're very lucky - a top player who not only has all the attributes that he has but also loyalty and humility. Would love to see him get his chance in the PL .. -
Surely that has to be someone from here? Really nobody could believe it..could they?

Good read, thanks

I'm aware of the timeline...what is lacking is any link to any such clause or that there is one shred of evidence that it exists- as I said..the link to Pardew conversation can only really happen if that was proven to be true. This can go round in circles but until this is proven to exist (and, no, of course you can't put up the contract on here) it's not really a discussion until there's at least some way of showing why you are so sure it exists. I'm not trying to score points, just prefer that when an extremely contentious allegation is made that there is some foundation in fact.

Switch off your agendas and just read that back to yourself? I rate Pardew and believe we owe him a huge debt of gratitude for signing the players that he did and are still performing in a way that makes me believe that they were always intended to see us through L1, this and for some higher if it happens. Why would Cortese allow him to sign those yet apparently have no such clauses, why did this clause not apply in the only other Italian loan transfer with Waigo? It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever in the context of the players signed in that period and since...unless you have a shred of evidence to add an iota of credibility to your statement? I'm not sure we'll ever know the reason for the sacking...it seems to have been mooted that there was no love lost between them even while Markus was alive and maybe it was down to the fact that he needed his own man to work with...as I say I have no knowledge but at least that has some kind of credence.
-
I suspect lots of things happened in the days after Guly arrived and those before but I only ask you to prove that such a clause exists...then we can have a logical discussion as to it being a factor in Pardew's demise.
-
Please show me the clause? When fantasy starts driving agendas I feel face palms coming on

You've obviously got a self-image issue if that embarrasses you....just kids having fun ffs

He's a confidence player and doing the jobs that Adkins (who obviously has a lot of faith in him) allots him at different periods of the game...he had three different roles today as the subs mixed it up. I thought his touch was heavy a couple of times in the first half but he grew in to the game as it went on and was at the heart of a lot of our better passing movements and by the end of the game would have been closing in on being one of our best performers on the day. When the Northam chanted the Olay and guly songs just after a good bit of work won us a corner he applauded the crowd..his game grew and gre from then on. He's scored goals from midfield, he likes to be sung to...a good trade off? I don't understand the anti-Guly feeling, I certainly don't blame it on racism but can understand that he's sometimes frustrating and inconsistent but he can be game-changing and magical in a matter of seconds....support not moans will get the best out of him...he's one of ours...support not moan....say it over and over.

I think the words ...(in administration) .... are all that's missing from your title question

Of course you weren't, of course you did, of course they did! Meltdown still on course for full breakdown at liquidation point - sad fantasist that you are!

Really..that cheap, that desperate?!!

Just beat me to the same response:D

Probably...he has been outstanding as you say. Absolute class and his improved tackling and decision making has reduced the tendency to get booked cheaply. Definitely, for me, a cornerstone to build around should we get promoted.
-
I was applauding Guly's contribution and De Ridder's entrance....it is the support bit in the word supporter you see.....

It's where the hookers ply their trade after a match....hook me and give me one (10p reduction for family members!)
