The Marxist UAF are far far worse than any rightwing group because these people have no principles other than trying to bully their views onto others. They are typical communists, devious creatures that try to paint themselves as the upholders of democracy, whilst simultaneously showing their true colours by marching alongside Islamic extremists and intimidating anyone that stands in their way. They will try to paint those opposed to their marxist fanaticism as fascists and Nazis, but there is nothing to pick and choose between the Marxist UAF and the 1940's Fascists because they both have the same underlying aim of a 1 party state and an intolerance of any other view. Zanu PF and UAF are brothers in arms, and neither care one jot about the people they claim to represent - all they care about is themselves and their thirst for domination and control.

It's not annoying The Sun or Murdoch - quite the opposite, the press are loving this situation. In Cortese they have a bumptious little man that they know they will be rattling and a bit like a fox hunt the fun is in the chase. In the end Cortese will either back down, or will be sacked/leave of his own accord, and the decision will be reversed.

Lord Tebbitt and John Redwood have criticised his statement - the words of Lord tebbitt was that it was naive at best and foolish at worst, so I suspect that they know that he is gay and that at some point the press will out him and use the statement against him.

He'd be a bit of a uninspiring choice, but if he gets the job then i'd give him the benefit of the doubt.

I think you're spot on with your assessment. I do not for one moment doubt that Nicole has Southampton FC's best interests at heart, but what he considers to be the "the club" and what I consider to be "the club" is different. I consider "the Club" to be everyone and everything associated with the club - that is the founding principle of a Club of any description, but Nicole only has an inward looking approach and an inward looking attitude. He has got it all wrong, and he doesn't understand the business of football. He is incompetent, bombastic, big headed and well on his way to one almighty fall.

Possibly, but it all goes back to when Clotese went the press to say AP basically needed to buck his ideas up and the Pards had a pop back in public. From then on in it was over between them, so im of the view that clotese should have sacked AP last season, and i said this on here, because i knew full well that it would have better done then than now. I received buckets of abuse for saying NC should sack last year, but i so wish he had and the abuse i received had been tenfold worse because it would have been better for the club. When i think about it i cannot think of a single thing that cortese has done that been an improvement (the liebherrs money payed for the team) but i can think of lots of things clotese has done that have been errors of judgement.
