Could it be that NC sold the vision about CL to the players and payed more wages and bonuses that Saints really could afford? So now there is this fire sale to pay back money spent on a dream?

It's a big gamble by clubs buying these young players really. I read a survey made in Sweden - yeah I know we suck at footie - but if you look at the Swedish U21 squad with the original squad of 33players 25% of these made it into to the Swedish premiership or Championship. The rest plays in lower divisions. I remember when Saints signed Prutton who was captain in the U21 and what happened to him? So for me losing these youngsters is really sad for the future but losing the "finished" product like Lovren is worse since you know what you get and with a youngster it's more a gamble. Still I'm sick of all this departures and don't fancy a season fighting relegation - especially after having last season still Fresh in my memory : / So please guys - start bringing quality players in to make us fans smile and believe again.

Goalie in my youth - today Goalie coach for the Local ladies team. So I can train myself to save some cash : ) got both armed covered in ink so I even look like a pro footballer - ok a bit fatter then a pro footballer but still I'm in : )

Even if I'm a Swede I say stay away from Guedetti. The illness he had have made him lose his "momentum"he had at Feyenord and he's been rather bad since coming back again. Been selected for Sweden a few times since coming back from illness but hasn't really made an impact. Also a bit of a trouble maker and his attitude is not always the best.

Charlton home 2009 lost 2-3 ... Still can´t belive there where almost fight in Northam amongs fans for have season tickets or not,,,,,,, And the song BWP loves plastic fans : / Also this young guy about 6-7 years old where screaming Pork from min 1 to min 90 that game with his nice mum supporting him doing so.. My low as a Saints fan - have much more postive games to mention but as you asked ; )

I have a feeling this will be announced tomorrow since OS just put up a nice piece about Marcus (RIP) and I guess that piece will be up there all day - and it should since he is a legend for what he did for us.

WOW from £17.75k a week to £53.25k - didn´t Twente manager said he would tripple his wages joining Saints.....

In defend of Adam me and my daughter meet him and all the other players before the West Brom game in January and he gladly signed our Swedish flag and my daughters Saints jersey and we took pics with him etc and he was very relaxed. OK this was in Jan before all the fuzz about him started.....

Lets say someone asks Rooney to sign an Arsenal jersey - would he do it?

Not surprised he left - but feel even more sorry now for Nigel getting sacked because of Corteses gamble. Clearly MP was Loyal to the Don and not the club really.l One thing is surtain - supporting Saints is never boring .....
