Sweet. I'll try that then.

NC's got loads of cash, good ideas and organisation, so I don't see why he can't do the lot. I don't see the point of this thread...

My wife gets them. To change subject slightly. Anyone get ocular migraines? Imagine visuals of a CD spinning (flashing a rainbow of colours) in one eye and slowly makes it's way to the other eye in an arc. They're quite fun to watch when they're happening at the time (unless you're driving) but are usually followed by tiredness and and a headache.

Alan leaving would give those who want away the 'moral' excuse to leave (ie "money is not a factor".) Whether NC would force these types to stay is another matter. Squad looks fine with a few summer signings to strengthen. It looks harmonised and it will get better next season IMO. Last thing we need is another reshuffle this summer...surely NC knows this. I ****ing hope he does.

Election coverage USA (and worldwide)

Almost! Damian, you think that they'll be releasing the new Chris Morris film out here? I expect there will be plenty of Indy cinemas out your way but harder for that kind of release to make it to Vegas. -
Not really bothered anymore. Tories would not have got my vote but maybe a complete fresh start is good. The current incarnation of 'Labour' is so lame...maybe they can go back to the drawing board and remember who they are.

Washed his hands in the 'p!ssbach'. Easy mistake.

Ed Balls please. I don't know much about him, but the name kicks arse.

I'm in the right time zone for this sort of thing, but for World Cups - rubbish!

Fun piece of work.

Who has ever said that the Guardian is devoid of an agenda? It's just that their agenda is toned down and doesn't scream at you and is better written. (Brainwashed?...please... save it for the sheep who buy into everything the tabloids and middlebrows spout) The Guardian, as has been pointed out, have been just as critical of NuLabour you will find...well any paper with an ounce of integrity would do the same! But my point goes much further than the political stories it covers, I'm talking the quality in general of it's media, travel, sport sections, etc, etc.

DM gets more stick because it's a poorly written, reactionary, OTT rag. The Guardian, it's (less extreme) political leanings aside, is not.

The post you made further down the page recently, made much better sense. Question is, when did the 'born again Tory' moment occur for you? What did it feel like?

"A detective series based in Norwich called 'Swallow'. Swallow is a detective who tackles vandalism. Bit of a maverick, not afraid to break the law if he thinks it’s necessary. He’s not a criminal, but he will, perhaps, travel 80mph on the motorway if he, for example, he wants to get somewhere quickly…"

Good vid of events from the York stand. What a bunch of turds. Then again, they live in Luton, their frustration is understandable.

It's Simon Pegg to you and I saw him first...ok.

It looks like what our 60's town center used to look like before they pulled the ****heap down. Very retro.

Always watch a bit (usually end up finishing it) when channel hopping. The sequels were cack though. 2 was ok.

Yes. Aren't Charlton selling because they are in financial need (hence he can not feature for them in any more games this season)? Also, Shelvey starts on the bench a lot and doesn't score as many.
