Can you post this on the other Lost thread for the chap that was confused.

Yeah, not sure why she was there in the church....and many more questions, etc...etc... Although the final act was quite slick and moving, feel mightily let down (although it had been fairly clear for some time where it was ending up.) Christian Shepherd..... Still enjoyed the last six years, been good TV.
  4. 'Free' courtesy of ESPN and Tommy 'the bastard' Smyth!
  5. (I *****ing love that clip)
  6. Tried listening to that again not so long ago. Apart from the majestic Inner City Life, the rest just doesn't sound that good anymore IMO.
  7. Lovely sounds. Am first listening to LCD Soundsystem's This Is Happening and am liking.
  8. Chavvy yes, racist...um...no.
  9. Yes, they are gorgeous. The breeder here in Las Vegas also owns (they say) the biggest cat in the world! Woof!
  10. We thought long and hard about a couple of Maine Coons a year ago but decided to skip on the thoroughbred kitties in favour of a couple of rescued moggies instead. They grew up into pretty damn fine animals, not mongs like a lot of basic cats can turn into. I know someone with Bengals and they are ****ing clever cats. Problem is, they have to keep them inside, so they're probably bored ****less not being able to do the things they should be doing outside.

Glad it comes lumbering to the end next week. Overall, have stuck with it, have enjoyed it on the whole, but agree with everything written above. The way they plodded through the first 5 series with intricate detail and are now rushing through the important climax is crappy. Anyone watching V?
  12. Sweet. I'll try that then.
  13. NC's got loads of cash, good ideas and organisation, so I don't see why he can't do the lot. I don't see the point of this thread...
  14. My wife gets them. To change subject slightly. Anyone get ocular migraines? Imagine visuals of a CD spinning (flashing a rainbow of colours) in one eye and slowly makes it's way to the other eye in an arc. They're quite fun to watch when they're happening at the time (unless you're driving) but are usually followed by tiredness and and a headache.
  15. Alan leaving would give those who want away the 'moral' excuse to leave (ie "money is not a factor".) Whether NC would force these types to stay is another matter. Squad looks fine with a few summer signings to strengthen. It looks harmonised and it will get better next season IMO. Last thing we need is another reshuffle this summer...surely NC knows this. I ****ing hope he does.
  16. Almost! Damian, you think that they'll be releasing the new Chris Morris film out here? I expect there will be plenty of Indy cinemas out your way but harder for that kind of release to make it to Vegas.
  17. Not really bothered anymore. Tories would not have got my vote but maybe a complete fresh start is good. The current incarnation of 'Labour' is so lame...maybe they can go back to the drawing board and remember who they are.
  18. Washed his hands in the 'p!ssbach'. Easy mistake.
  19. Ed Balls please. I don't know much about him, but the name kicks arse.
  20. Pretty good show. Paxman never fails to disappoint.
  21. For anyone who can be bothered... http://www.c-span.org/Watch/C-SPAN3.aspx BBC feed through CSPAN3 (Some cable providers carry the channel, Directv do not) http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/shared/election2010/liveevent/ BBC website feed (no international restrictions Swingometertastic!
  22. I'm in the right time zone for this sort of thing, but for World Cups - rubbish!
  23. Fun piece of work.
  24. Who has ever said that the Guardian is devoid of an agenda? It's just that their agenda is toned down and doesn't scream at you and is better written. (Brainwashed?...please... save it for the sheep who buy into everything the tabloids and middlebrows spout) The Guardian, as has been pointed out, have been just as critical of NuLabour you will find...well any paper with an ounce of integrity would do the same! But my point goes much further than the political stories it covers, I'm talking the quality in general of it's media, travel, sport sections, etc, etc.
  25. DM gets more stick because it's a poorly written, reactionary, OTT rag. The Guardian, it's (less extreme) political leanings aside, is not.
