  1. You can't argue with the point he's making though.
  2. Lewes is a pretty nice spot, some good pubs there, easy access to Brighton/London.
  3. York is still very much typically English. Probably one of the best cities for fitting the expectation of a typical English city to the average tourist, whilst at the same time being a bustling, working, place to live for ordinary people.
  4. I've not read the full book yet, and he's obviously a bit of a C**t, but the quotes I've seen so far cracked me up. God knows what the current players and staff he's working with will make of it and how much they can trust him.
  5. How many nations would get more than 55k on a soaking wet Thursday night when playing San Marino?
  6. There may be apathy towards the England team, but there was 55,000 at Wembley last night to see them play San Marino, so plenty of people obviously care and want to see a good England team.
  7. I'd argue it was a more interesting result than Clacton. Maybe not in the major cities (Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds), but in large northern towns, UKIP are probably going to be the only serious opposition for Labour.
  8. F****g hell, Lallana is going to be in for some stick when Liverpool visit St Marys.
  9. Hodgson's message to Clyne has basically been I'll only pick you for my squad and team, if you really are the absolute last available option out there.
  10. 22.08 via Brum? You'd make that I reckon.
  11. I think you might want to check your trains from Manchester again.
  12. What is your view on the captain of your football club dreaming of playing for the opposition?
  13. The thing is, Hodgson knows he's got a guaranteed job until after the Euros, he can do what he wants, there are no other options for anyone coming in place of him.
  14. Exactly. I really just don't get Hodgson's approach tonight.
  15. Yep, ridiculous. I guess it all doesn't matter given the opposition, but that just feels like a pointless starting line up.
  16. There is no evidence to suggest that the club would actively try to copy this year's changes in personnel. But if top clubs come in with £25m+ bids, in reality we will lose a couple of players. Such is life and modern football, nothing to really get worried about.
  17. How many captain's of Premier League sides state they were dreaming of playing for another club?
  18. I'd obviously like to see Cork sign a new contract, but ultimately if Schneiderlin does go and for £25m+, we'll be looking to bring in a replacement a step above Cork's level.
  19. The Wilson piece didn't class everything as serene. Also, this is just Schneiderlin's opinion - who knows what other players were thinking? He's hardly going to come out now and say "I fancied playing under Pochettino again, so wanted to push for a move to Spurs" is he?
  20. How come you've got rid of your "Wreck it Ralph" avatar? That was such a funny one!
  21. They must have a lod of highly priced corporate deals. We do struggle to fill boxes etc. Being in West London must help them a bit in that regard.
  22. I don't think so, the recent call ups of Fonte, Clyne and Pelle all seemed focused enough, didn't shirk anything. Spurs seemed a bit sharper to the 2nd ball which was frustraiting for me, especially as we had Davis, Wanyama and Schneiderlin, I think we should have competed a bit better in that regard.
  23. Depends the way he leaves I guess.
  24. I noticed that as well, surprising considering we were playing Wanyama and Schneiderlin.
  25. A "4" is obviously a bit harsh, but I didn't think Forster had a great game, didn't dominate his box at all.
