Same fans I guess that put put more effort into clapping Walcott when we play Arsenal than getting behind our own players.
-
You can dream, but surely it's more worthwhile actually looking at and thinking about players we might actually buy? Or why not just dream about Messi?
-
By all means get one done, but refer to him as "Lambert" not "Rickie", who uses player's first names?
-
Not really, they'll probably just chuckle to themselves that they took the p**s out of the club and the the fans didn't even have the front to give them any stick and will be quite pleased with the easy ride.
-
Why does it matter if it's "predictable" or what "outsiders" might think, neither is really relevant is it.
-
Doesn't have to have been "fibbing" the whole time, just got to a junction whereby he wasn't able to secure the future funding and investment he'd been hoping for to cover the next five years of his plan.

What do you think has seriously gone wrong? Apart from massive bids from the likes of Man Utd and Liverpool?
-
Agreed, at least all this should guarantee a lively old away end.
-
So a trend of one player not signing, with an eye on Valencia or Inter Milan instead? THAT trend, of course, should have spotted it easy enough.
-
What trend has it highlighted?
-
Would he really? How many League starts has he had as a 26 yer old? Quite pleased we haven't got him.
-
Would you reject a £50m bid for Lovren?

Callum Chambers to play right midfeild this season?
Sour Mash replied to peacey's topic in The Saints
Think most of his youth team career was as a Central Midfielder, with a few games at Centre back. Think he'd already been converted to a right back role, prior to Clyne's injury. Possibly because there was more chance of breaking through that way, who knows. Got the impression that MP certainly rated him. I think he could have a strong season for us, just depends whether he'll get the chance to cement himself in any role. -
His 383k of followers on twitter would suggest otherwise.
-
Why not? Don't particularly see the problem with those comments. Every celebrity and sportsman that has an open social media account must get that sort of thing from time to time.
-
Yes, they have a case to answer and no, we probably won't get the level of proof that would be required to do anything about it.
-
Agree with the point re Lovren weakening the club's position and reputation as a whole, ridiculously unprofessional. Also, I know that top-level transfers are full of every trick in the book, but at what point are we going to get to with Liverpool tapping up our players where something is at least raised with the powers that be.

The bloke comes across as a thick and a c**t unfortunately.

Callum Chambers to play right midfeild this season?
Sour Mash replied to peacey's topic in The Saints
Would only be relevant if we were going to return to playing 4-4-2, which we're not. -
Most grounds allow a basic, regular sized, non-offensive banner to be held up at the start of games, this would be allowed.

And "the dream" goes on happily ever after. If a player if actively pushing for a move, it is very difficult for a club to manage and integrate them over a season. If it was down to me, I'd tell them "tough ****, play or you're stuck in the reserves", but I don't run a football club. The current lot running us have to make tough, practical decisions for the good of the club. There is no clear cut "right" or "wrong" decision, but I do believe they are acting in our best interests.
-
Who knows. Lallana and Lovren look like they have made moves in that direction. What is your suggestion for dealing with significant moves by players to double their wages and create moves to CL clubs?

Who gives a f**k what someone may or may not post on the Ugly Inside forum.

Dusan Tadic - DONE DEAL, official and everything

1) they didn't. It's your misinterpretation of the statement. 2) You expect the club to put that in a statement 3) You think they're not doing that? 4) You want the club to have players playing for us that know they are leaving in January, have an agreement to leave in January, we may not have replacements lined up - completely unrealistic on so many levels. 5) How can we secure replacements prior to we have confirmation of a player leaving and the value and timing they are leaving? 6) Agree on Cork and Fonte. 7) You seem to know a lot about the sackong of academy coaches, can you tell us a bit more more about why they happened and the circumstances? I'm sure they did try not to do that, so you're agreeing with the board there. 9) As above. 10) What sort of thing do you want them to say? Give us an example. -
Top draw as always.
