Think he means that a lot might live in London, but aren't exactly born and bred Londoners from Arsenal supporting families for example.
-
Chelsea are really struggling against Basel tonight. Looks like Eto might be out for a little while.
-
It will definitely make it to General Sale.
-
Agreed, just out and out weird are some of our fans.
-
How many points would you say he's saved us this season? I can think of maybe West Brom away and that's about it.
-
Think the bloke is just a bit too odd. He can obviously throw in a top draw save from time to time, but you can't trust him week in, week out, as I said before, more weird than anything else, thats a few odd goals we've conceded now.
-
Yep, but completely irrelevant if they have a "character" behind them in goal. Our changing room must have been a strange place this evening.
-
What the f**k mate? he's an absolute *****. Not like its a one off.
-
I thought it was just weird. Not good, not 'bad', just really weird. If someone from the footballing betting authorities was to look at a few of our last goals conceded it would look odd to put it mildly.

Maybe not the £200k, but I think the not taking full allocations at away games is linked to home games not selling out. If fans pickand choose games, the clubwould much rather they chose a home game, then say Man Utd or Liverpool away, which may have been the fan's first choice, but as they couldn't get tickets for either of those, they do Hull at home instead (for example.).
-
They don't have a fair point if you go by what is in this season's PRemier LEague Handbook, which states: "The visiting club have to pay for all of the tickets requested in that allocation, with the following caveats: 1. if the visiting club fully sells out all except the final seating block, they do NOT have to pay for any unsold tickets in that final seating block; 2. if the visiting club wishes to return an entire block of tickets, they must do so at least 10 days before the game, and if the home club cannot sell them, the visiting club must pay for that block of tickets (with the price determined based on the ratio of adult:concession tickets actually sold by the visiting club)."

He was our only player that played on Tuesday wasn't he? So could make sense that he's on a different training/rest programme to the others for a couple of days. Edit: Lambert and JWP both played of course, although much less tiring shifts than Lallana.

Yep, letting the game pass him by a bit.
-
There is someone on the Twickets twitter feed offering tickets in the Arsenal end for £35, not a bad offer.
-
Agree, poor comments similar to some of the half-hearted stuff he came out with re Lambert. Would he really pick AOC ahead of Lallana currently though?
-
I'm amazed any professional footballer has the patience to have an open twitter account.
-
Which average/good players are you referring to?
-
I'd say that was pretty much spot on. Clyne should go, but I can't see how he can get ahead of Johnson or Walker with only a couple of friendlies left.
-
Lallana looked good first half, faded 2nd half and didn't see much of the ball. Rodriguez is very much a confidence player and he looked a bit nervous to me; couple of times he got the ball and had the opportunity to run at the Chile defence, something he does so well for us, yet opted to play an easy pass instead. I'm just not sure if the England management will show him the patience he'll need to get into his rhythm for international football. Rest of the England team very poor throughout. Rooney trying to do everything and getting in other players way, not picking the easy pass. I thought the best example of the contrast between the two sides was the kicking from the keepers - time and time again the Chile keeper picked out his man at all angles of the pitch, absolutely perfectly. Forster on the other hand just booted the ball aimlessly up the pitch every time the ball came to him, clearly to the annoyance of other England players, really made a difference to the rhythm and structure of the game. As others have said, Chile were a very good side.

Two cracking away days to Carlisle, good times.

Rumour from Italy is that we have set Ramirez's price at 20 million euros, and are willing to accept the payment in 4 instalments. Think I would take that if offered.

A very thought provoking article by a war veteran

What is wrong with that? -
Surely that depends on how much football they both play over the international week? At the moment Lambert must be first choice up front.

Did Cavani not play for PSG?
