But how would you be damaging the club?

It's not for me to define. Do you think Saints' traditional home shirts are red and white stripes? It's an easy enough question. -

Why can't you answer my question? -
Where have I said kids wouldn't get in free? Don't give yourself a heart attack, you'll miss the game.
-
How would you be damaging the club? Surely by helping them to return to a more popular shirt you will be doing the exact opposite in the long term?

Do you think red and white striped shirts is Saints traditional home kit? Yes or no? also, you've already had it explained to you why the change was made from blue to black shorts. -
JWP & Cody Cropper take on the world (u-20s World Cup)

I tend not to use the term "World Class" as the discussion becomes hung up on it's definition - but as you say Beckham, Lampard as well as Carrick, Rooney, Gerrard, Cole have performed at the very top level year in year out. We're not Spain, but most countries arent at the moment. -

Where did I say Bale was English? We're talking about the quality of coaching in this country, Bale was produced by coaching in this country. You don't think Gerard, Lampard, Cole are excellent players? Fair enough. How many countries qualified for both youth tournaments this summer? -
Still doesn't make sense?

So on that basis how did the Belgian and Portuguese get on in this summer's youth tournaments? But I agree, the likes of Pearce and Peter Taylor probably aren't the people who should be coaching and managing these teams going forward. -
That's very interesting, thanks for sharing.

I'll be fine. Most match tickets in England tell you to get in the ground 30 mins before kick off, but unless you're on OAP or with kids no-one pays any notice. Cheers for your concern though.

I'm not suggesting Spain is a fluke, but comparing ourselves to them is a bit unfair, they're so good at the moment it is ridiculous. Look at France at the moment, what are they churning out? Where were Portugal at the U21s? How many countries qualified for this summer's Under 21s Euros AND the Under 20s world cup? And didn't we finish top of our group in qualification for both? Just saying a bit of perspective is needed and you won't get that from comparing us to the current Spanish set-up. -
That answer comes from Tim Vickery who seems to know his South American football.

Gerrard, A. Cole, Rooney, Lampard, Owen, Beckham, Wilshire, Ferdinand, Carrick, Scholes, Bale, Defoe. Over the past 20 or 30 years, England are probably in the top 10 or 15 performers of world football. Could we do better? Of course we could and the current crop coming through don't look great, but these things can be exagerated. -
That's it, pretty bad that! Must have a financial affect on their plans for future seasons as well.
-
Probably, though you could argue that either of those two might be happier to be 2nd choice/back-up, as opposed to Yoshida a first choice CB for Japan who would expect to be playing every week.
-
Thought I saw a bit on twitter during the week that they'd been banned from Europe next season due to some sort of financial irregularity? But yeah, still a massive club, bit surprised they'd fancy Fonte to be honest.
-
Plus two CBs with pace makes it a lot easier to play a high defensive line. Can't see Forren getting much game time personally.
-
Celtic beat them last season, so I'm not so sure.
-
Got to hopefully assume their knowledge of the Ecuadorian transfer market is better than their knowledge of English transfers.
-
I reckon there must be as that's not the sort of rumour that gets made up randomly, although a bit of a strange move for Fonte. No-way will we go forward with 6 first team/senior CBs.
-
He won't be on anywhere near £100k at either us or Cardiff. More chance of us paying his agent £1m +.
-
Sounds a decent player, didn't think we'd be going after another CB. Definitely one or two of our current crop on the way out then.
-
Who has abused him for having a differnet opinion? I'm just saying you really don't need to turn up at the ground an hour early, it's not realistic.
