Courtois would be a fantastic signing, couldn't see us getting him anyway.
-
He must be really bad if MP would rather have no forwards on the bench than stick Mayuka in the squad.
-
I don't think anyone is bothered about 'defending' Lawrenson, more a case of laughing at those that care so much what he predicts.
-
We were pretty consistent throughout the year - hence never being out of the top 2. Take a look at our form in Feb & March - that is on a par, if not better than the start of the season.
-
For future reference there is an Away game section to this forum that has all this info.
-
We won't know if thats the case when buying tickets anyway.
-
Constantly in the top 2 of the league? Not very realistic.

They didn't say we shouldn't "look" for a win on Saturday did they? They just said a draw wouldn't be the end of the world which is true. Not great, but ok. Win home games and draw away as a general rule of thumb aint too bad. A draw on Saturday wouldn't be "very disappointing" would it?
-
I'm not even really referring to our figures, just a case if that's what our figures look like, can you imagine a lot of the other clubs in the Champ with less income than ours, but pushing for promotion?
-
I agree that we are playing better football under MP than NA, but there isn't much in it. What about our Arsenal at home or Man U at home performances? A bit of luck and we'd have beaten Arsenal, a bit of Prem League experience and savvy and we'd have probably beaten Untied. We drew away at Chelsea, having been 2-0 down at half time. Who knows how much we'd have kicked on from there under NA. If you remember Gary Neville's analysis after our West Brom away game, he blamed it on individual errors, rather than the way the team had been set-up.
-
Just a reminder that modern English football is all about taking a gamble and operating at a loss on the chance of getting up to the promised land of the Prem.

Ticket details released http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/ticket-news-for-spurs-trip-751471.aspx

Yep and move Hooiveld up from that bottom group.
-
Because I think they're a tired, ageing squad, that don't have the money to kick on at all. I don't think we'll be anything like top 4, but can see us doing something similar to Swansea or WBA. Maybe not top 7, but 8/9th certainly.
-
Your points are relevant for a top 3-4 finish, but not for a club to be pushing for 7th or 8th.
-
I think we'll finish 8/9th next season and that'll probably be above Everton.
-
Agree with this.
-
So you agree he is right, but you don't think he should say it? Would it be better coming from a Champagne Socialist?
-
What do you mean Forren has the "highest peak level of all the four"? Centre back is still our weakest area. Fonte, Yoshida and Hooiveld are all decent, but none outstanding, unlike what we have in most areas of the pitch.
-
£57 is plenty of money to buy food for just one week, easy to buy decent stuff in Tescos and Sainsburys. It's only an issue if you think they should be able to visit M&S or Waitrose for the weekly shop, might stretch things a little then.

We were chasing a goal and going forward against Norwich and QPR. We were doing tons of chasing and closing down against Chelsea. Very different scenarios.
-
Didn't have a problem with him coming on against Chelsea, just QPR &Norwich. I'd have Chaplow or Guly ahead of him.
-
Bringing JWP for Ramirez completely killed our momentum (we were running the game and only team that looked like scoring) at Norwich. He offered nothing in terms of increasing our chances of a breakthrough and goal against QPR. They were weird subs.
