Schneiderlin and Lambert spring to mind. The fans get behind him constantly. I can't believe that there are any fans that didn't expect a bit more from him so far.

Yes, when at least 90% of the forum thought he should be our first choice 'keeper. -

Clyne? Boruc? Lallana? Can't remember anyone using such adjectives for those three. I've stood up for Hooiveld and Fox, but I can see why people would be critical of them, can't you? -

Well that doesn't apply to most of your list does it? And in the other cases you might have one or two people getting carried away and that's about it. -

You do realise this is a football forum with hundreds of posters? Everyone is going to have different views and will raise them if they think a player isn't performing as well as they should. If that player then improves, they'll probably comment that the player is playing well. Not complicated is it. -
Why are people making comparisons with Schneiderlin? Completely different situations.
-
Not saying they are. Just expect a lot more from them then they've produced so far this season. More quality there than a fair few other sides in the Prem.
-
Surprised he’s not our captain to be honest.
-
What has changed in the last two weeks?
-
Keep expecting QPR to click in attack - Tarabat, Hoilett, Granero, Remy - there is definitely some quality there.
-
Fox was good enough to be part of a back 4 that managed Man City's attack out of the game just the other week. Now he's not considered even good enough as back-up?
-
We don't play in a unique way that requires extreme levels of fitness for a centre back.

Newcastle 4-2 Southampton // Post-Match Reaction

Can't believe that wasn't a booking. Foy was poor, but it was a definite Pen for them, we can't really argue on that. -
How exactly has Fonte "adapted well" to the new system?
-
So you'd drop Shaw back to the bench? It's a hard call. Shaw has been excellent this season, but it's a lot to ask of a 17 year old for him to perform in the Prem week in, week out.

Newcastle 4-2 Southampton // Post-Match Reaction

Agreed. Wasn't a great performance (worst under MP so far), but wasn't particularly bad either. THought we worked some really good openings in the 2nd half, but were either too slow or not ruthless enough with our final pass/shot. -
Comes back to the same question - our outlay of over £20m on Ramirez, Rodriguez and Mayuka, we haven't got enough return for that investment so far.
-
Thought his reaction to that was quite amusing. Bit of an odd press conference all round. Why haven't they put the Steven Davis interview up?
-
Why does anyone really care what get predicts?

"Society doesn't exist, at least not in the sense of a cohesive whole working toward a common goal" - that isn't the definiton of "society" though. What do you want in exchange for your £40k p.a.? The current system has served 99% of us brilliantly, as has human greed.

They were getting the highest attendances in the league still.
-
Why? What is wrong with what they've done?

Maybe try life off this forum and your submarine you might not get so excited by £500
