He's completely right. Even in the cut throat world of modern football it's pretty rare to find out that someone has been in place to take your job for at least a few weeks, watching your side etc, all without you knowing anything about it.

I looked this up a month or so ago and off the top of my head I think last season's equivalent weekend, there was one league game played early on the Sat, one early on the Sunday, one other at 4 on the Sunday, one at 8pm on the Monday and the rest at 2pm on the Sunday. That probably doesn't help much does it?
