  1. We'll be the early Sunday kick off. Probably have Man Utd at home on as well.
  2. We still don't know match day prices yet.
  3. What a pointless, badly written article. WSC has gone down hill a fair bit in the last year or so anyway.
  4. Only £25 difference I think, so not a big deal, but doesn't bode well for the overall working of the system. We'll see.
  5. That's the renewal price.........
  6. Exactly this. Much rather see end to end attacking football, than a team passing it back and forth across the half way line for 20 minutes.
  7. I'm expecting Harding to move on I guess. Can't see Danny Fox being the sort of player that is happy sitting on the bench as back-up, so it'd be a bit of interesting competition if we were to bring this dutch lad in.
  8. Of course. But on the assumption we're going to buy a goalkeeper, a centre back, a centre mid and possibly a right sided midfielder, that's a very big influx of new players for one summer....
  9. Bit strange that we've strengthened with a striker and (possibly) a left back first of all, probably our two strongest areas.
  10. Conference rooms can be booked for all sorts of things, staff training or briefings, meetings with external parties. As you say more likely for negotiations with an agent or possibly to do our own photo-shoots etc with a new player, without any junior member's of the hotel staff trying to take photos through a window......
  11. Agreed. So probably the season after that or maybe 2014-15? Can't wait. Just a small point though; we'll need to sign better players than Buttner if we're going to directly compete with Man City.
  12. Create the impression of high demand with big queues in the middle of town?
  13. What's you point? Oh you don't have one, just arguing for the sake of it. Crack on.
  14. How are shirts normally sold on the first day? From the MEgastore at the ground? Weird that we decided to put them on sale the day before the store reopened. The cynic in me would think it'd be the classic marketing trick of small shop, only letting a few in at a time, creates a big queue, looks great from a PR/demand point of view.......?
  15. We didn't wear striped shirts at all in the 1980s, until the 89/90 season. If you think the Rank Xerox one and the Hummel one were striped, then so is this new one.
  16. What did we do in the 1980s when we stopped wearing red and white stripes?
  17. We didn't wear red and white stripes throughout the 1980s. Did you stop supporting the club then?
  18. How will it bring in significant amounts of money for the club? I don't have a problem with pics of Saints players around the ground, that in itself is a good idea, just the cr@p, cheesy marketing spin that seems to go with everything these days.
  19. What sort of football fan gets excited about "creating a brand"? Why do we need to "create a brand" and why does it excite you?
  20. Exactly this. What is the need for it? Cheap and pointless.
  21. Relatively speaking, yes it is. There are only so many 'different' things you can do with a football kit. As I've said.before, I can see why some might not like it, but if you think the design process was a quick, lazy half hour meeting then you're wrong, they'd have put loads of thought and time into, particularly the 'concept'. Whether it's any good or not is another matter altogether.
  22. Not from what I can see, but nothing announced so far for this season I think, so who knows.
  23. That'll be a reserve side won't it? Salsa bar for a night out after.
