Yes, illiterate might have been a bit harsh, just very, very thick is probably more appropriate. You clearly didn't read what I posted, which is a pity as it was quite straight forward.
Of course, you're correct, fish with gravy doesn't go. Should be a meat and potato pie or a steak and kidney pudding to go with that, load on a load of mushy peas as well. Sheff Weds have that in the ground for a couple of quid.
Give the club a call. As we've seen this week, they seem to find a few spares here and there every couple of days. ALternatively, travel up without tickets, go to all the main away pubs and ask around, there are always spares for games like this.
You said that the Skates would know well in advance whether Lambert would be fit or not (something like "would already know"). That is a load of rubbish. It's not impossible that they might find something out well in advance, but it's certainly not likely either.
Quite. Its very possible that someone on the new construction site is a skate. Even in the fairly unlikely event that he is able to have enough of a look at our training, prep or medical room (last one very unlikely) to see that Lambert isn't playing, is he then going to call straight through to Appleton to give him an update and be taken seriously? Of course not.
Basically, this, along with the Palace game, show that it is worth calling the club once a day if you have missed out on tickets for a big game, as a few extra seem to pop up every couple of days.
