  1. Do you expect the players to be reading this?
  2. Exactly. Thread started by an absolute odd ball and lapped up by many. Sums a lot of this forum up.
  3. So you lost an argument a few weeks ago and thought you'd take it up again on this thread. Bit odd to be honest, but at least you don't stop trying.
  4. Yes, illiterate might have been a bit harsh, just very, very thick is probably more appropriate. You clearly didn't read what I posted, which is a pity as it was quite straight forward.
  5. Only been closed for about 10 years.
  6. Which Red Lion? The one at Bedford Place is run by a skate.
  7. Of course, you're correct, fish with gravy doesn't go. Should be a meat and potato pie or a steak and kidney pudding to go with that, load on a load of mushy peas as well. Sheff Weds have that in the ground for a couple of quid.
  8. Give the club a call. As we've seen this week, they seem to find a few spares here and there every couple of days. ALternatively, travel up without tickets, go to all the main away pubs and ask around, there are always spares for games like this.
  9. All the Spoons from 9, most others from 10. If you want to know a particular pub, just give them a call.
  10. I don't understand what this article is saying?
  11. Why is anyone relying on the HMRC to do anything effective on this? They've been pretty useless for the last three years.
  12. Good pubs and cheap beer in Wigan. Fast train service from London. Plus being a new ground for most, that makes a decent away day in my eyes.
  13. Right, am I missing out on a forum in-joke here? You actually believe the OP's story?
  14. Why did you go to the time and effort of making up your opening post?
  15. What the f**k are you on about you illiterate clown?
  16. What a load of utter made up b**locks by the OP. Weird.
  17. Why? Season ticket holders could buy 'extras'.
  18. See what the prices are like for an eTap room in Southampton as contingency?
  19. You said that the Skates would know well in advance whether Lambert would be fit or not (something like "would already know"). That is a load of rubbish. It's not impossible that they might find something out well in advance, but it's certainly not likely either.
  20. Quite. Its very possible that someone on the new construction site is a skate. Even in the fairly unlikely event that he is able to have enough of a look at our training, prep or medical room (last one very unlikely) to see that Lambert isn't playing, is he then going to call straight through to Appleton to give him an update and be taken seriously? Of course not.
  21. So you have no idea how they would know whether Lambert is fit or not? Fair enough.
  22. Who would have told them?
  23. How will they know?
  24. Basically, this, along with the Palace game, show that it is worth calling the club once a day if you have missed out on tickets for a big game, as a few extra seem to pop up every couple of days.
